1 Velkommen til Ayurveda med teori og praksis. Det er med stor glæde, at Grace Tours kan præsentere dette intensive ayurveda kursus for alle med en sundhedsfaglig baggrund, som ønsker at udvide deres værktøjskasse til også at inkludere den ældgamle og anerkendte videnskab ayurveda. Grace Tours har igennem 15 år arbejdet for at udbrede kendskabet til denne værdifulde videnskab, idet vi har og bliver ved med - at arrangere ayurvedarejser til Indien og afholde ayurveda arrangementer i Danmark. Til dette kursus har vi samlet nogle af de bedste kræfter indenfor ayurveda den tyske læge Linde Goebel og den sidste weekend også med Dr. Unni. Deltagere som har gennemgået kurset i København, vil også få tilbudt at fortsætte forløbet med et praktikum på Agastyaa klinik i Sydindien på 10 dage efterår Vi har også inviteret to undervisere til at komme og inspirere med en god start på dagene med åndedrætsøvelser kaldet Pranayama. Pranayama-sessionerne bliver endnu et værktøj, du vil kunne bruge og få et godt udbytte af, som du både kan bruge med dine klienter og personligt. På kurset vil denne start på dagene tilføre energi til din krop og dit sind, samt hjælpe dig til større fokus. Pranayama-sessioner ledes af den amerikanske yoga- og pranayama lærer Yogiji og Maria Juhl, uddannet på Deepak Chopras Center i Californien. Al undervisning vil foregå på engelsk. Håber vi ses! 2 Intensive Introduction to Ayurveda in Theory and Practice Dates: Time: All days from Venue: Price: Grace Tours, Østerbrogade 52, 1tv, 2100 Copenhagen 5600 DKK incl. tea/coffee/ fruit/ lunch Early bird: DKK discount ending 01 st April Our course Intensive Introduction to Ayurveda is specifically designed for medical professionals like doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, nutritionists, yoga teachers etc. who aim at incorporating the age old knowledge of Ayurveda into their clinical work with patients and clients as well as their personal life. The course consists of three weekends of intensive teaching here at Grace Tours in Copenhagen, with its curriculum being designed to provide the participants with a sound foundation in ayurvedic theory and practice. Every theoretical session is followed by an equally extensive block of practical application and discussion so that the participants get equipped with a basic ayurvedic toolbox for their clinical work while laying the groundwork for diving deeper into Ayurveda thought and practice in later courses. Those who have completed the course are eligible to attend a 10 days practical retreat in renowned Agastya clinic in Kerala, India, under its founder and head physician, Dr. Unni.

3 Our teachers In Copenhagen: Linde Goebel Linde Goebel (B.A.M.S., M.A.) has lived and studied in India for more than seven years and holds a B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) of Gujarat Ayurved University, India s first university exclusively devoted to ayurvedic studies and research. In addition to being an ayurvedic physician accredited by the government of India she obtained an M.A. in medical anthropology with a focus on South Asian healing systems from reputed Heidelberg University in Germany. She is in the process of becoming a Heilpraktiker (an alternative and complementary health care professional in Germany), which will allow her to practice Ayurvedic medicine in Germany as is done in India - as an established and holistic system of health care much rather than just a wellness experience. Her strong interest in every aspect of the human body, mind and soul, and a passion for learning as well as teaching are the driving forces behind her endeavours to build bridges between Eastern and Western understandings of health and medicine. Linde has worked clinically and engaged academically with Ayurveda in both India and Europe, making her a competent and experienced practitioner, teacher and mediator between different cultures and systems of medicine. In India & one day in Copenhagen: Dr. Unni Dr Unnikrishnan Kavirajan (B.A.M.S.) is the founder, Chief Physician and Managing Director of Agastyaa Heritage Ayurvedic Centre. He started his own clinic in Kovalam some 20 years ago after having graduated from the Government Ayurveda College in Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. He comes from a family with strong background in Ayurveda on his mother s side, who is herself a distinguished Ayurveda physician. Through his genuine passion for helping people to regain sustainable well-being he has established the Agastyaa Heritage Ayurvedic Centre as a leading provider of complete healthcare in balance with the nature. His clientele comes from the whole world. As Dr Unni visits Europe on biannual basis he has a considerable number of regular clients from this region and is in a way functioning as their family doctor.
