3 The Danish Coastal Authority A division of The Danish Ministry of the Environment and Food is the official coastal government agency is an independent authority covering all of Denmark s 7,300 km of coastline, managing the governmental socio-economic interests within the field of coastal protection. regulatory tasks concerning coastal protection and the state territorial waters are carried out by means of analyses, project planning, construction, operation, and warning.
