2 Compressed Natural as (CN) used for vehicle applications must be free of solid material, water and oil. Yet the heart of the natural gas fueling station is the compressor, and most compressors require lubrication (oil). Over time, it is impossible to prevent some oil carryover from leaking into the fuel stream. This can result in: Diminished fuel economies with increased vehicle deadweight Increased vehicle emissions during engine combustion Reduced accuracy and possible rupture of the regulator diaphragm Engine contamination Xebec XV Filters are the answer to onboard vehicle protection of critical engine components. Specifically designed to remove oil, water and solids from CN, our filters are constructed to withstand operating pressures up to 5000 psig, while removing 99.99% particle contamination with less than mg/m 3 oil carryover.
