2 Technical industry managers Danish marine engineers hold key roles within the offshore industry, shipping and supply of energy, electricity and water. 60 percent have budget responsibilities and half are responsible for budgets exceeding 10 million DKK. They are technical managers controlling complex technical plants, developing new technology or specializing in service and counselling. A world of employment opportunities Danish marine engineers are employed across a wide range of industries and are increasingly recruited to traditional engineer positions. They work onshore and offshore within wind, oil or gas production.
