Here,theeducationalsystem emphasison"handsonexperience"which helped us to drench completely intotheworldoftechnologyandina way discover something inovative.theextentofguidance,flexibility andfreedom giventoushadledtocuriositytounderstandthingsbetter andtomakeadifferenceinreal-life. KSU issurroundedbyquitefascinatingplaces,itincludesthecitypark, SunsetZoo,Lake Trail,Konza Prairie and Tuttle Creek Lake.These beautifulplacesareworthvisiting toloseourselfinthearmsofnature leaving behind the materialistic world.wecanfi lourselveswiththe utmostoptimism bygoingtochurchtoextractsbible. When itcomes to theweekendsnightlife,nothingcanbebetterthan music jammingaroundthebonfire.toadduptheglam toitsnightlife, the streetofaggievile provides with numerousoptionsofbarsand restaurats. To wrap up our journeyatksu,iwouldsaythattheircantbeabetter placetoclearourvisionforsettinggoalsoflife,experienceinternational culture and atthe same timegetaplaceforsolitudeinordertoknow ourselfplenary.

3 CultureandWayofLiving PruthabaParmar,Electronics&CommunicationEngineering Eachuniversityhasitsownuniqueandcherised culture.when aninstitutiontakesbirthwithit, cultureisinstiled;theyaretherootswhichgets deeper as the university ages and brings in stabilityandcontinuity. KansasStateUniversityhistoricalyhasbeen welcoming to alraces.over the years,the university evolvedand broughtmoreprogramssuch as the IEP to bridge the gap between differentculturesandespecialyeducation. Talkingaboutthewayofteaching,Ifeelthestyleandattitudetowards studies is more inclined to apracticalapproachandsolvingreallife problems using engineering skils.also,thestudent-teacherrelations here are personalyetveryprofessional.theothernightyoucanfind yourselfcompetitingwith your professor on thecricketfieldorhave funwiththem atgamenightsyetyoumightenduptakingappointment tomeethim theverynextday. The lifestylehereiscontrarytowhatitisinindiabecausepeoplehere believeinthemotto-toworkhardforfirstfivedaysandpartyequaly hard on the weekends.and this issomethingweweredefinitelynot usedto.amidstalthese hectic schedules,testsandchanges,weoften gathered atthe conversationcafewherewemetpeoplefrom different countries and developed abond byexchanging cultureintheform of dance,music,discussionsandget-together. For mecoming to KSU wasoneofmybestdecisionsever.afteralitis aplethoraofculturalexchangewithexcelenteducationalfacilities.

4 BreakfastwithProvost BhavikMistry,MechanicalEngineering 23rdJune2017,Fridaymorningarrivedwiththebeautifulweatherofthe KSU Campusanditisthedayofmeetupandhavesomeconversationswith theesteemedauthoritiesofthekansasstateuniversity. ThehonorableProvostAprilMason,DeanSueMaes,MayorUshaReddi,Dean DarrenDawson,Dept.Head Wiliam Dunn,Dept.Head Don Gruenbacher, Director Karen Hibbard,Asst.ProvostGrantChapman,Dr.NiteenPateland Dr.Ramani,GTU visitingprofessorswerethepartofthemeetup. The Provostand other K-State personnel shared their information regardingthe successofk-stateinprovidingqualityeducationandhow theyarefocusedmoreonresearch. It was an amazing experience sharing ideas with the K-State Administrationandeverystudentfelthonoredbygettinganopportunity tohaveaconversationdirectlywithoutanyhesitation. Finaly,thebreakfastcomestoanendandthestudentsgotthewonderful opportunity to take a memorable picture with the entire team ofthe Provost,wereinattendanceforthemeetup.

5 StudyatK-State AshfakPatel,MechanicalEngineering VanditGajar,Electronics&CommunicationEngineering TeachingatK-StateistotalydifferentthanGTU.Basicalytheclassroom inrathboneandfeidlerhalsaremadesuchthatstudentsliketostudy. The instructor and teaching assistanthavefulofknowledgeofeach and every topic.the bestthingaboutk-stateisthatmoststudiesare online.atk-state we gotlotsofpracticalknowledge.instructorand faculties are much friendly sothatstudentsdonotfeelshyforasking eachand every doubtthatcomes intheirmind.oneofthebestparts here is thatwe learn to be punctualandmanagetimeverywel.as weknow atmospherematters alotfor studying,andwecansayabout thek-statelibraryprovidesjustthat!bestpartofk-stateisthemethod ofexamination. Hale library has each and everythingthathelpsstudentstodevelop. Halehas presentationpractice halwhere students can practice for theirpresentation.useofcomputer and high speed Internetfacilities helpsusformakingpresentationsandcompleteourprojects.

6 This teaching experience isverydifferentfrom those Ihave with traditionalclassesatk-state. As much as Iam teachingthestudentsfrom GTU, Iam also learning how tobeabetterinstructor infuturegtu coursesaswelasthoseiwilteach atk-state. Dr.KevinWanklyn DepartmentofMechanical&NuclearEngineering "Ienjoyedinteractingwiththestudentsfrom GTU. While they found my wireless communications coursechalenging,iwaspleasedtonotethatmany ofthem worked hard tolearnandunderstandthe concepts discussed in class.iwishthem thevery bestinlife." Dr.BalaNatarajan DepartmentofElectricalandComputerEngineering Bytheendofalassignedpresentations,each student s performance was improved much morethanwhatitwaswhen they came first daytoclass.the students gotadaptedtothe new system and they exceled indelivering their topics with very high performances. Ienjoyed teaching Machine Design to this year s GTU students.iwish the studentsal the success,notonly intheirfuturecareers, butin their personallife andhopealtheir endeavorsbecometrue. Dr.MaherShehadi DepartmentofMechanical&NuclearEngineering TheexperincewasverygoodtoteachtoGTU Students this time,they havelearnedevery thingveryquickly,whichisverygood,iwish them altheverybestinfuture. 7 AroundtheCampus DivyGupte,Electronics&CommunicationEngineering ThecityofManhattaninit-selfisdiverseand mesmerizing.therearelotsofculturalshops andpublicattractionswaitingforyououtside thecampus. AttheManhattanCityPark,every eveningyoucanseebunchoffamilies spending their timetogetherandtheyouthengagedindifferentkindof games.the City Poolis justtheperfectplaceyouwanttospendyour timeduringthehotsummerofkansas. Ifyou are up toshoppingyoucanfindawesomedealsinwalmartand TheManhattanTownCenter. The Flint Hil Discovery Center is the perfectplacetoknow about the culturalhistory and natural exhibitsofthelittleapple. Theview from topofthe ManhattanHil ispleasing,andyoucansee thelushgreencityandit scalmness.

8 KonzaPrairieTrails TheKonzaPrairieisbestplacetovisitinManhattan.Intheearlymorning we wenttothekonzafor hiking.itwasthefirsttimeforalthestudents to do hiking,soitwasfun.thekonzaisthebestnaturalplacetoexplore. Wewalkedabout2-3milesaroundtheKonzaPrairiebyhiking. The Konza Discovery Center improvestheeconomyofnature,intotalof 8000 acres.this experience improves our knowledge aboutthehiking in morning and aboutnature.we gotcompany from Dean Sue Maes for thekonza,soitwasmuchappreciatedexperiencethatwealstudents gained.

9 IndependenceDay Oneoftheamazingdaysofthis2monthjourney wason4thjuly,2017- Independence Day ofunitedstates,wealwenttodowntownwamego toenjoythefireworksshow,thankstok-statestaff whohelpedustravel towamego.they gave us the informationabouthow peoplecelebrate the Independence Day.In Wamego we enjoyed fireworksshow upto minutes,which wasrealyamazing.inthatwaywecansaywe have enjoyed Independence Day like peopleoftheus,withprideand enjoyment.theexperiencewasrealygood.

10 TheIndustrialTrip JayrajsinhRathod,MechanicalEngineering JigneshkumarPrajapati,Electronics&CommunicationEngineering In the Jeffery Energy Center they taughtus abouthow the plantis actualyworkingandhow themaintainceofplantis done.the Jeffery Energy center isalaboutpracticalknowledgethatalstudentscanget. This center is alabouthow the plantproduce energy andhow this energyisprovidedtothepeople.it s basicaly situated neartopeka,ks. For thestudentsofmechanical&electrical,thejefferyenergycenteris a fundamentalpartofunderstandinginthesubject.wealstudentsare thankfultok-stateforgivingusthatwonderfulopportunity.

11 TheConvocation VanditGajar,Electronics&CommunicationEngineering We celebrated our 5 th convocation with althe 65 IEP students and althe K-State family atpaslay Auditorium.The students, ful of excitement,were acknowledgedfortheirparticipationwithcertificates andcommendations. TheconvocationmarkedtheendofourbeautifuljourneyatK-State,and with althe experienceitismarkedthebeginningofournew phaseof life to climb up to the top,we alstudents arethankfultogtu and K-State for this wonderfulopportunity they have given to us,this experiencewasmarvelous,ithastaughtuslifetimeexperiencethatwe couldneverforget.
