This edition of the Requirements was approved by the VinduesIndustrien Technical Committee in December The use of these Technical Requirements for certification or inspection purposes is only permitted by prior written agreement with VinduesIndustrien. Chapter 2.6: Information about performance testing The level of Assessment and Verification of Constancy of Performance (AVCP) fixed by the EU Commission shall apply. Alternatively, a unit may only be described as having been functionally tested if the test has been conducted at an accredited/notified laboratory in accordance with current standards. Chapter 4 Rules concerning product certification In addition, the product certificate serves to ensure that the product corresponds to the manufacturer's own product description in every respect. This can be documented via calculations according to EN ISO In addition to the surfaces of casement and frame, the interior surfaces of the unit also include the sealed glazing unit, glazing gaskets and weather seal between frame and casement. However, the surface of weather seals is not included if air access to the weather seal is via a gap with a width of 4 mm or less and a depth of 5 mm or more. The above requirements regarding the minimum temperature of interior surfaces do not apply to window and door handles, lock cylinder and door sills, but the manufacturer must, at any time, make sure that no condensation is retained in the construction. This may be done by ensuring a continuous wet line and by applying solutions with built-in thermal bridge breakers. For each delivery of windows and external doors the company must additionally provide all the energy performance data for individual units which are required to calculate the overall energy performance of the building project concerned. Window systems may be energy labelled according to energy class A-F as listed in Annex 18, provided there is a signed standard size of 1.23 x 2.18 m. If the manufacturer wants an initial type calculation ( ITC ) carried out on a sliding door or a folding door respectively, this calculation must be made on a double or triple light door respectively, with a reference size of 2.50 x 2.18 m. Glazing unit data must apply to the standard glazing unit defined as the most commonly used glazing unit in the product system in question. The standard glazing unit is considered to be the glazing unit construction which forms the basis of the system approval and which is stated in the product description. Thermal properties of glazing units must be specified with 2 significant digits and be legible/comprehensible in the glazing unit. The process must be supervised by an external inspection body. Final customers must be made aware of any odour nuisance from the heat treated timber. Materials data As a minimum, documented data must be provided for the following properties: Density Bending strength Screw firmness at a stated screw depth. Type testing Strength/robustness: Type testing according to EN must have been performed. At each inspection visit samples are selected and sent for external testing at an accredited laboratory. In the case of other manufacturers of laminated profiles, including manufacturers of curved sections, who act as suppliers to window manufacturers affiliated to the external inspections must be conducted by an impartial body approved by VinduesIndustrien. Manufacturers are paid two annual inspection visits - for companies with a turnover of less than DKK 5 million, however, only one annual inspection visit is paid and, at each visit, samples are selected and sent for external testing at an accredited laboratory. If the requirements are not met, fresh samples are collected by the inspection body for testing at an accredited laboratory. If these samples also fail to meet requirements, the inspection body will decide on what action to take. Therefore, there will be variations in structure and sheen, star shakes and other normal timber variations, e.g. irregularities around knots, where partial flaking, blistering and wrinkling may occur. Particularly in the case of light colours there may be colour penetration from knots and finger joints. Knots may have been plugged or filled with a suitable material but will remain visible. Similar colour variations may occur in the form of profiles/areas with yellow discolouration. Timber units with high resin content do occur. In such circumstances, resin may cause extensive bleeding. When knots are removed from resinous timber, and the timber is finger-jointed, this may also cause resin bleeding. Se næste side. Side 8

9 Annex 17: Testing of finger-joints Requirements: For requirements see DS/CEN/TS and DS/EN 408 +A1(sect. 19). The test sample has a height h and a width w, which must both be measured within 0.1 mm accuracy. The supports S have a spacing of x the height, and the pressure points Pp have a spacing of 6 x the height. The rolls at S and Pp have a diameter of Ø30 mm and must be wider than the width w of the sample. The finger joint (the hatching) must be located within the middle 100 mm of the test sample with the finger-joint profile vertical vende opad være lodret towards the direction of the force F. The test sample finger-joint must show no shoulders. The force F is applied at a rate which must not exceed 0.18 h mm/min. A higher rate will increase the uncertainty in determining the strength, and, consequently, a safety factor of 10% for performance requirements should be added. Requirements to tensile strength: As a minimum the tensile strength must be equivalent to a bending stress of fm at 45 N/mm² (45 MPa). Alternatively, the wood failure percentage must be at least 80%. If lack of equipment makes it is impossible to measure the strength, the wood failure percentage may in the alternative be estimated to be at least 90%. Randzonen er de yderste 10 % af kantlængden på alle sider, og inderzonen er det resterende areal. Falszonen er rudens kanter inkl. glaskanterne og forsegling/limning. For bedømmelse af visuel kvalitet af en termorude gælder nedennævnte zoneinddeling. Side 12

Nyt bilag tilføjes Se de næste 3 sider Bilag 22 tilføjes: Klagevejledning Generelt må det accepteres at vinduer og yderdøre er et industriprodukt, som er beregnet til bygninger. Udgangspunktet for enhver reklamationsbehandling er at produktet er fejlbehæftet og ikke overholder kvalitetsnormen De Tekniske Bestemmelser for DVV, og at forholdet skyldes vinduesproducenten. Ved levering bør du straks kontrollere at vinduerne er i overensstemmelse med det bestilte, samt om der er åbenlyse fejl, mangler eller evt. transportskader. Transportskader, som fx revnede ruder, ridser eller trykmærker, skal meddeles på leverandørens fragtbrev. Når modtagekontrollen er udført, overgår ansvaret for en korrekt opbevaring til kunden. Reklamationer på beskadigede elementer, som er blevet monteret, anerkendes ikke. Øvrige reklamationer over mangler ved en leverance med garantidækning kan ske indtil 5 år fra vinduesproducentens leveringstidspunkt, dog ikke senere end 3 måneder efter at manglerne opdages. DVV garantien omfatter ikke reklamationer, som kan henføres til følgende: Manglende alm. vedligeholdelse og efterhjælp som smøring, afhøvling, justering m.m. Hængsler, låse, lukketøj, tætningslister m.m., der ved daglig brug slides, og som følge deraf må udskiftes. Fejl som skyldes fejlagtig montage. Dette forhold skal afklares med det firma som har udført monteringen. Visuel kvalitet på karm/rammer og ruder som opfylder kvalitetsnormen De Tekniske Bestemmelser for DVV. Evt. reklamationer skal meddeles senest 3 måneder efter levering. Den visuelle kvalitet af vinduer skal bedømmes i en af stand af mindst 2 m indefra og 3 meter udefra, og det skal ske ved et diffust lys (f.eks. overskyet himmel) uden direkte sollys eller kunstigt lys. Uregelmæssigheder, der ikke kan ses betragtes ikke som fejl. Ved kontrol af refleksion i ruden skal afstanden udefra være mindst 5 m. Som bedømmelsesgrundlag henvises til: Ruder: Bilag 20 - Termoruders visuelle kvalitet. Karm/rammer: Træ Bilag 14 - Forventet udfald af industrielt overfladebehandlede træelementer. 16 Bilag 26: Indvendige forsatsrammer Nyt bilag tilføjes Indvendige forsatsrammer skal udføres i en god håndværksmæssig kvalitet og opfylde bestemmelserne som anført under: Arbejdsudførelse, Kanter og Samlinger. Malede overflader på træ skal være udført som dækket, lukket, glat og udfyldt (DLGU), og lagtykkelsens gennemsnitsværdi skal være større end 80 µm. Andre overflader skal mindst være af samme kvalitet som specificeret under de respektive materialeafsnit. For at sikre en ensartet tætning skal der være et passende antal lukkeanordninger/vridere, og tætningslisterne skal være skåret i gehring. Der skal være udarbejdet en monteringsvejledning, der indbefatter en beskrivelse af udluftningsforhold mellem forsatsrammer og eksisterende vinduer.
