Terms & Condition Cutting of Salt, Iodisation of Salt, Filling of Salt in 50 Kg. HDPE Bags weighment, stitching, stacking of bags & Loading into Railway Wagons on contract basis from Sambhar Lake (A) The concerned contractor have to Cut of salt from salt heaps, Iodisation of Salt from Iodisation plant, filled into 50 Kg. HDPE bags, weighment, double stitching, stacking of bags and loading into the Railway Wagons as per work order. 1. Bags will be stitched double by contractor and thread/ sutali will be arrange by contractor. 2. The above work should be satisfactory. 3. Stacking of 50 Kg. Bags will be done at determined place. 4. Contractor will deploy sufficient labours for the work as per requirement of work. 5. For the Supply of Salt 50 Kg. HDPE Bags will be provided by the company. The above bags will be received by contractor or his authorized representative from Sales Section Sambhar after filling of salt entire account will have to be given to Incharge Sales Sambhar Lake by Contractor. 6. Contractor will have deposit amount EPF after deducting from labours wages as per rate. 7. Contractor will have to pay his employed labour as per the provision of minimum wages Act & applicable rate. 8. Contractor will have to follow the provisions of contract labour abolution Act. 9. Contractor will have to work as per direction of Incharge Sales Section Sambhar Lake or his authorized officials. 10. Contractor will have to arrange required material for work such as bucket, Spades & stitching threads etc. 11. The packing material for work such as salt, weighing machine, packing machine will be provided by the company. 12. The hook on the bags is not applicable. 13. During Cutting of salt visible mud, soil etc. will be removed by contractor labours from Salt. 14. Contractor have to do the work for preparation salt as per order of Incharge Sales Section, Sambhar Lake other wise at contractor cost & risk altercative arrangement will be made. 15. If consignment is received less weighment and less number of HDPE bags at destination the recovery of the same will be made from contractor s bill & Security Deposit at the rate of party 16. The stitching of 50 Kg. HDPE bags should be proper & in good condition if packing of bags found open at the destination point & salt packed found in less quantity then cost of packing & salt will be recovered from contractor at the rate of party.
17. If any demurrage, warfage, under charge and panel freight is charged by Railway Department the same will be bear by concerned contractor. 18. The contractor to whom work order is awarded will have to deposit Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. Fifty Thousand Only) as Security Money which will be refunded after completion of satisfactory work. 19. Regarding point No. 19, it is cleared that L-1 party (Lowest Rate Offered Party) will have to deposit security money Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. Fifty Thousand Only) either in cash/ demand draft or through FDR after opening of price bid immediately. 20. For Iodisation of Salt Potassium Iodate will be provided by the company. 21.
