Hydraulic unit AVN-K07 Ref. no: B1378 TW 30.07.99-01 Date: 18.08.99 Mounting, service and test Page: 7 Procedure for mounting, service and test of the hydraulic unit. Mounting Fasten the hydraulic unit to the base by means of 4 pcs. M8 screws in the tank. Connect the hoses to port A1 and L1 on the hydraulic unit. Hereafter mount the hoses at the brake calibre's Oil tank is to be filled with appropriate hydraulic oil. (IMPORTANT!) Check the direction of rotation of the motor. Please note the arrow on the motor. Hereafter it has to be controlled, whether the motor is started by the pressure transmitter, controlled by the monitoring system of the turbine. Bleed all brake calibre's by making the oil circulate through them. Shut the flow control valve after airing. The system has to be checked for possible leaks. Service and test The correct pressure settings can be found on the circuit diagram. The gas pressure in the accumulator pos. 11 has to be controlled each six month. The pressure filter pos. 05 can be checked via the indicator. If the filter is dirty it must be replaced together with the air filter pos. 16. It should be replaced at least every 2. yard. Check the quality of the oil once a year, in agreement with your oil supplier. If the hydraulic unit can not build up or maintain the pressure or yaw. - the check valve pos. 8 is leaking. - the flow control valve is open. the pressure transmitter pos. 12 is defect. - there is not enough oil. - the valve pos. 13 or coil pos. 14 is defect there is no electricity on the coil pos. 14. Hydraulic unit AVN-K07 Ref. no: B1378 Maintenance and Date: 18.08.99 replacement interval Page: 8 Maintenance and replacement intervals Hoses must be replaced every 7. year (latest) AC-Motors with closed lifetime lubricated bearings must be renovated at the AVN facility after 40000 running hours (latest). DC-motors must be serviced after 500 running hours Brushes and commutator must be inspected and cleaned carefully, bearings and connection to pump must be inspected, if there s any doubt replaced or sent for renovation at the AVN facility. Accumulator precharge of nitrogen gas (N) must be measured and charged every 1/2 year. Gear pumps we recommend that surveillance of charging (running) if these factors start to increase significantly then replace. Filters must be changed every year. Oil quality must always be in order run test regularly e.g. every ½ year, or alternatively change the oil every 2. year. The oil must at all times keep a cleanliness level of 17/15/12 according to ISO 4406. Solenoid operated valves has a standard lifetime expectancy of 1 mill. activations must be changed before that.
