9 Today,mostretailhomeautomationandsecuritydevicescomewiththeirownserviceappsthat areoftenchalengingtolearnandrememberhow tooperate.eachhasitsownuserinterface (UI)andcloud-basedserviceinteligencethatdoesnotcommunicatewithotherdevicesor services.insidethishomeautomationspace,thelighting,energyandmonitoringdevicesoften comewiththeirownhubsandapps.ifboughtatdifferenttimes,theseservicesmaybe impossibletointegrateandoperateinfulunison.
