EPD - the life cycle of a product according to the system boundary: In this case the EPD covers the product stage, installation into the building, use and maintenance, replacements, demolition, waste processing for re-use, recovery, recycling and disposal, and disposal and is said to be 'cradle to grave' and becomes an EPD of construction products based on a LCA, ie covering all information modules A1 to C4 16

CPR: This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union However, Articles 3 to 28, Articles 36 to 38, Articles 56 to 63, Articles 65 and 66 as well as Annexes I, II, III and V shall apply from 1 July 2013 22

BR7: The construction works must be designed, built and demolished in such a way that the use of natural resources is sustainable and in particular ensure the following: (a) re-use or recyclability of the construction works, their materials and parts after demolition (b) durability of the construction works (c) use of environmentally compatible raw and secondary materials in the construction works 26

Product Level: It is recommends that all environmental product declarations (EPD) for construction products are made in full compliance with EN15804 29
