Situationupdate TwoyearsafterthebeginningoftheconflictinYemen,over7,600Yemenishavebeenkiled,morethan42,000havebeeninjuredandover3milionhavebeendisplaced.Sincethebeginningof2018,increasedfightinginTaizzandAlHudaydahgovernoratesledtothedisplacementofmorethan85,000people betweendecember2017andmid-march2018.manyoftherecentlydisplacedarelivingwiththeirrelatives,inrentalaccommodation,orinspontaneoussettlements,whileothersaremovingtowardsadenandsoutherngovernorates. ConflicthasescalatedinSa adaandjawfgovernorates,highlyimpactingcivilians,includingwomenandchildren.accordingtotheprotectioncluster,airstrikes,shelingandgroundfightinghaveimpactedhomes,farmsandcivilianinfrastructureandincreasedtheriskofunexplodedordnances.accordingto localauthorities,theongoingfightinginsa adaandaljawfhastriggerednew displacement.
