Withineachassessment,testtakersarecountedonlyonce andonlytheirlatestscoresandmostrecentdemographic responsesaresummarized.moststudentssupplyoptional demographicinformationwhentheyregisterforortaketests inthesatsuiteofassessments,whichprovidesvaluable contextualinformationtoaidininterpretingand understandingindividualandgroupscores. ScoreRanges Herearetherangesforreportedscoresforthe Evidence-BasedReadingandWriting(ERW)and sectionsofeachassessmentinthesatsuite: SATsections:200 800 PSAT/NMSQTandPSAT10sections:160 760 PSAT8/9sections:120 720 ColegeandCareerReadinessBenchmarks EachassessmentintheSATSuitehasanassociatedsetof metricscaledthecolegeandcareerreadiness Benchmarks. TheSATbenchmarkisthesectionscoreassociated witha7 chanceofearningatleastacinfirst-semester, credit-bearing,colege-levelcoursesinalgebra,statistics, precalculus,orcalculus. TheSATEvidence-BasedReadingandWriting(ERW) benchmarkisassociatedwitha7 chanceofearningat leastacinfirst-semester,credit-bearing,colege-level coursesinhistory,literature,socialscience,orwriting. Thegrade-levelbenchmarkscoresforPSAT-related assessmentsarebasedonexpectedstudentgrowthtoward thesatbenchmarksateachgrade.whilesatbenchmarks indicatelikelihoodofsuccessincolege,grade-level benchmarksindicatewhetherastudentisontrackforcolege andcareerreadinessfortheirgrade.thebenchmarksareset toreflecttypicalannualgrowthfrom yeartoyearfrom 8th through12thgrades.
