Der må ikke indsættes fremmedlegemer i nogle af produktets ventilations- og luftudtag, da dette kan medføre elektrisk stød eller brand og forårsage skader på produktet. 11. For at undgå brandfare må ventilations- og luftudtag ikke blokeres på nogen måde. For at undgå, at produktets åbninger blokeres, må pejsen ikke anvendes på bløde underlag såsom senge. 12. Pejsen må ikke anvendes på steder, hvor der anvendes eller opbevares benzin, maling, eksplosive og/eller brændbare væsker og aldrig i nærheden af opvarmede overflader og åben ild. 13. Sæt altid pejsens ledning direkte i stikkontakten eller en fast stikforbindelse. Anvend aldrig produktet med en forlængerledning eller en flytbar ledningsboks. 14. For at undgå brand eller chokfare skal produktet tilsluttes et 220 V udtag. 15. For at frakoble pejsen, sluk for den (OFF) og tag stikket ud af stikkontakten. Træk forsigtigt i stikket ikke i ledningen. 16. Sørg for at pejsen ikke er tilsluttet strøm, når den skal flyttes eller rengøres eller ikke er i brug. 17. Produktet må kun anvendes til hjemmebrug ifølge instruktionerne i denne brugsanvisning. Anvendes produktet til andre formål, kan dette medføre brand, elektrisk stød eller personskade. Brug af tilbehør, der ikke er anbefalet af eller købt hos en autoriseret forhandler kan skade produktet. 18. Produktet skal anvendes på et tørt og jævnt underlag. 19. Produktet må ikke anvendes udendørs. 20. Forsøg ikke selv at reparere eller justere pejsens elektriske eller mekaniske funktioner, idet garantien så vil bortfalde. Slutbrugeren må ikke selv udføre service på pejsens indre komponenter. Dette skal udføres af faglært personale. SIKKERHED Overophedning Denne pejs er udstyret med en sikkerhedsforanstaltning mod overophedning. Når pejsens indre komponenter når en bestemt temperatur, der kunne føre til overophedning eller brand, bliver varmefunktionen automatisk deaktiveret. ADVARSEL: Det er normalt, at ledningen føles varm ved berøring, men hvis stikproppen ikke sættes helt ind i stikkontakten, kan dette føre til overophedning af stikproppen. Hvis dette sker, prøv da at sætte stikproppen i en anden stikkontakt og kontakt en elektriker for inspektion af den første stikkontakt. DK 3

INSTALLATION Pejsen kan monteres på væggen eller stå på gulvet. Sæt stikproppen i en 220 V stikkontakt og tænd for kontakten. Træk beskyttelsesfolien ud af fjernbetjeningen som vist på nedenstående tegning. DK Advarsel: For at undgå brandfare, overhold venligst følgende sikkerhedsafstande til pejsen Op Ned Venstre Højre 1 m 0,5 m 0,5 m 0,5 m Advarsel Inden der bores huller til montering af pejsen undersøges væggen for skjulte installationer. DK E BRUGSANVISNING 1. Tænd på tænd/sluk kontakten på pejsen. Fjernbetjeningen fungerer kun, når denne kontakt er tændt. Placér stenene i pejsen F Power Tryk på powerknappen på fjernbetjeningen for at tænde for varme- og flammefunktionen. Når der trykkes på powerknappen igen, slukkes der for varmeog flammefunktionen (blæser slukker efter 30 sekunders) og pejsen er nu i standby tilstand. 2. Justering af flammestyrke I standby tilstand trykkes på flammesymbolet for at aktivere flammeeffekten. 1. Montér vægbeslaget på væggen med skruer (4*45mm) og rawlplugs (tegning A). 2. Hæng pejsen på vægbeslaget (tegning B), løsn de to skruer på siden af pejsen, så glaspladen kan afmonteres (tegning CD), placér de medfølgende sten i pejsen (tegning E), sæt glaspladen på pejsen igen (tegning F), stram skruerne og tilslut pejsen. FLAME Or Flame I standby tilstand trykkes på flammesymbolet for at aktivere flammeeffekten (lampen på kontrolpanelet tændes). Ved et nyt tryk på knappen reduceres flammestyrken. Der er fem forskellige flammestyrker,som der kan skiftes imellem ved at trykke på flammeknappen. 10
3. Varmefunktion lav varme I standby tilstand trykkes på low knappen for at aktivere varmefunktionen. 1000W Or Low I standby tilstand trykkes på low knappen på kontrolpanelet eller fjernbetjeningen for at aktivere varmefunktionen med lav varme (lampen på kontrolpanelet tændes). Ved et nyt tryk på knappen slukkes der for varmefunktionen (blæseren slukker efter 30 sekunder). 4. Varmefunktion høj varme I standby tilstand trykkes på high knappen for at aktivere varmefunktionen. VEDLIGEHOLDELSE 1. Sluk for pejsen. 2. Tag ledningen ud af stikkontakten og lad pejsen køle helt af. 3. Ydersiden af pejsen kan tørres af med en fugtig, blød klud eventuelt med en smule rengøringsmiddel. Tør efter med en tør, blød klud. VIGTIGT: Der må ikke komme væske ind i pejsen. 4. Der må ikke anvendes alkohol, benzin, slibemidler, bonevoks eller grove børster til rengøring af pejsen, da dette kan skade eller ødelægge pejsens overflade. 5. Pejsen må ikke nedsænkes i vand. 6. Efter rengøring skal pejsen tørre helt, før den tændes igen. 7. Hvis pejsen ikke anvendes i længere tid anbefales det at tage batterierne ud af fjernbetjeningen. EN ELECTRIC FIREPLACE WITH HEATING FUNCTION PLEASE SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT. Please read these instructions carefully so that you are familiar with the product and its functions. When using the product, general safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. These safety measures are: 1. Read all the instructions before using the product. 2. Do not attempt to open or repair the fireplace yourself, as there is a risk of electric shock. 3. The fireplace can become hot when it is switched on. You should therefore avoid contact with bare skin. 4. Ensure that flammable materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothing and curtains are placed at a minimum distance of 1 metre from the fireplace. Do not place wet towels or other objects on top of the fireplace. 5. Take special care when the fireplace is used by or in the vicinity of children or people with disabilities, as well as when the fireplace is left on without supervision. 6. The fireplace must not be used if the cord is damaged, the fireplace is defective, has been dropped on the floor or damaged in any other manner. In this case the fireplace must be delivered to an authorised service centre. 7. The fireplace must not be used in the bathroom, laundry room or similar indoor area and must never be placed where there is a risk of it falling into a bathtub or other water container. The product must never be submerged into water or other fluids. 13
8. The product must not be operated with wet hands. 9. Do not cover the cord with rugs, runners or similar and do not place in such a way that there is a risk of tripping over it. 10. Never insert foreign objects in any of the product s ventilation or exhaust openings, as this can result in electric shock or fire and cause damage to the product. 11. In order to avoid the risk of fire, the ventilation and exhaust openings must not be blocked in any way. In order to avoid blocking the product s openings, the fireplace must not be used on soft surfaces such as beds. 12. The fireplace must not be used in places where petrol, paint, explosive and/or flammable liquids are used or stored, and never in the vicinity of heated surfaces or open fire. 13. Always plug the power cord for the fireplace directly into the plug socket or a fixed plug connection. Never use the product with an extension cord or portable outlet box. 14. In order to avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, the product must be connected to a 220 V outlet. 15. To disconnect the fireplace, turn it OFF and remove the plug from the plug socket. Pull carefully on the plug not the cord. 16. Ensure that the fireplace is not connected to the mains power supply when it needs moving or cleaning or is not in use. 17. The product is for home use only and must be used according to the instructions in this user manual. If the product is used for other purposes, this can result in fire, electric shock or personal injury. Use of accessories not recommended by or purchased from an authorised dealer may damage the product. 18. Always use the product on a dry and even surface. 19. The product must not be used outdoors. 20. Do not attempt to repair or adjust the fireplace s electrical or mechanical functions yourself as the warranty will then be null and void. The end user must not service the fireplace s internal components themselves. This must be performed by trained personnel. SAFETY Overheating This fireplace is equipped with a safety cutoff to prevent overheating. When the fireplace s internal components reach a particular temperature, which could lead to overheating or fire, then the heating function is automatically deactivated. WARNING: It is normal for the cord to feel warm to the touch, but if the plug is not inserted completely into the plug socket, this can lead to overheating of the plug. If this happens, try inserting the plug into a different plug socket and contact an electrician to inspect the first plug socket. EN 14

INSTALLATION The fireplace can be mounted on the wall or placed standing on the floor. Insert the plug into a 220 V plug socket and switch on at the plug. Remove the protective film from the remote control as shown in the drawing below. E INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE EN 1. Turn on the fireplace at the on/off switch. The remote control will only work once this has been switched on. Place the stones in the fireplace F Power Press on the power button on the remote control to turn on the heating function and flame effect. When you press on the power button again, this will turn off the heat function and flame display (the fan will turn off after 30 seconds) and the fireplace is now in standby mode. 2. Adjusting the intensity of the flame In standby mode, press on the flame symbol to activate the flame effect. 1. Mount the wall mount on the wall with screws (4* 45 mm) and rawlplugs (drawing A). 2. Hang the fireplace on the wall mount (drawing B), loosen the two screws on the side of the fireplace so that the glass plate can be removed (drawing CD), place the stones supplied in the fireplace (drawing E), replace the glass plate onto the fireplace (drawing F), tighten the screws and connect the fireplace to the power supply. FLAME Or Flame In standby mode, press on the flame symbol to activate the flame effect (switch on the lamp on the control panel). By pressing again on the button, the intensity of the flame is reduced. There are five different intensities of flame, and you can change between them by pressing on the flame button. 21
3. Heat function low heat In standby mode, press on the low button to activate the heat function. 1000W Or Low In standby mode, press on the low button on the control panel or the remote control to activate the heating function at low heat (switch on the lamp on the control panel). By pressing again on the button, the heat function is turned off (the fan will turn off after 30 seconds). 4. Heat function high heat In standby mode, press on the high button to activate the heat function. 2000W Or High In standby mode, press on the high button on the control panel or the remote control to activate the heating function (switch on the lamp on the control panel). When you press on the power button again, this will turn off the heat function (the fan will turn off after 30 seconds). MAINTENANCE 1. Turn off the fireplace. 2. Remove the cord from the plug socket and allow the fireplace to cool down completely. 3. The outside of the fireplace can be wiped with a damp, soft cloth if needed, with a small amount of cleaning agent. Then dry with a dry, soft cloth. IMPORTANT: Ensure that no liquid enters the fireplace. 4. Alcohol, petrol, abrasives, bone wax or harsh brushes must not be used to clean the fireplace, as they can damage or destroy the fireplace s surface. 5. The fireplace must not be submerged in water. 6. After cleaning, the fireplace must be allowed to dry completely before switching on again. 7. If the fireplace is not in use for long periods, we recommend that you remove the batteries from the remote control. EN 22
