6 - the problem - the problem pool hydraulics, with the current inlet and skimmer design, is based on chlorine distribution alone, leading to poor transport of particles to skimmers and high pressure loss particles might settle and dissolve in the pool reservoir, or disintegrate in the main pumps particles larger than 10 micrometer are filtered out in sand filters where they stay for days and weeks. Particles dissolve forming THM and chloramines THM and chloramines formed will end up in the recreative pool area, where it will cause unpleasant conditions for guests, and potentially cause serious disease especially for children ventilation systems are designed to avoid condensation on the glass surfaces and to minimize evaporation. Captura filters can be installed with a very low pressure demand Ultraaqua membrane systems filters all pool water daily to 0,001 micron which is times finer than sand filters! Ultraaqua membranes filters backwash water from sand filters so that water demand for backwash are reduced by a factor 10, even with daily backwash compared to traditional backwash once a week! nitrogen originating from urine and sweat is dissolved and will together with chlorine form chloramines also called combined chlorine. With the Ultraaqua Multiray UV, combined chlorine can be destroyed resulting in a dramatic concentration drop THM is formed when chlorine reacts with dissolved organics.
