6 Low power wireless technologies Memory Spot HP s bud på en konkurrent til RFID. Deres chip som de offentliggjorde i juli 2006 er på størrelse med et riskorn (kube på 2 til 4 mm). Indeholder 256 kb og kommunikerer ved 10 Mbps MEMS - Micro Electro Mechanical Systems MEMS handler om integrationen af mekanik, sensorer, aktuatorer og elektronik i almindelig silicium ved hjælp af mikrofabrikationsteknologier. MEMS er en understøttende teknologi, som det forventes vil kunne revolutionere mange produkter gennem denne integration af mekaniske og elektriske egenskaber i meget små enheder. Bluetooth Bluetooth er en industri specification for wireless personal area networks Lon works LonWorks er en anden type netværksplatform, der understøtter såvel radiokommunikation, som kablede netværk med twisted pair, fiber optic og el-ledninger. Platformen er åben og understøtter også Internet kommunikation vha. af SOAP og XML. Group the ideas according to its intended users; design-team, contractor, owner and end user. Choose your preferred idea and write and sketch a scenario for it. 28 Example on a solution Scenario - On-site mounting of construction components George is labourer and works with mounting precast concrete panels on a residential building. When the concrete panels are delivered he checks the panels for transport damages, and by reading the ID stored in the embedded RFID tag he gets easy access to the digital production card on his handheld computer and reports any damages. On the production card he notices that the panel is delivered in time while the workgang is ready to mount it immediately. On the 3D model viewer he now finds the location of the panel and supplementary information about the sizes of bracing to be used. After the mounting and grouting is done George takes a few photos for documentation and clicks the finalize button on the production card. On his way home from today s work George mention that the two 4D models on the big screen in the workmen s hut are displaying exactly the same state of the building which means that they keep pace with the time schedule.
