Sikkerhedskopiering Det anbefales, at der jævnligt foretages en sikkerhedskopi af vigtige Microsoft Dynamics C5 filer. Data mv. Derfor har vi med Microsoft DynamicsTM C5 2008 leveret en simpel backup applikation, som kan være et alternativ til andre backup applikationer. Med backup applikationen er det muligt at tage backup af både Microsoft Dynamics C5 Native og SQL databaser. NB: Det anbefales, at kontakte forhandler hvis det bliver nødvendigt at genindlæse sikkerhedskopien. Hvad bliver sikkerhedskopieret Microsoft Dynamics C5 Native database Der tages en fuld backup af hele mappen Microsoft Dynamics C5 Data inklusiv mapper og undermapper. Microsoft SQL Server Express C5 database Backup funktionen starter en fuld SQL Server database backup (*.bkf) og samtidig tages en backup af hele mappen Microsoft Dynamics C5 Data inklusiv mapper og undermapper. Bemærk at LOG filen ikke bliver slettet i forbindelse med backup rutinen. Beskrivelse af Backup applikationen Backup applikationen startes via menupunktet Microsoft Dynamics C5/Administration/Backup Tool. Første gang applikationen startes skal der foretages nogle standardopsætninger på fanebladet indstillinger: fanebladet indstillinger Databasetype Her markeres om databasen der ønskes sikkerhedskopieret er en Native eller SQL database C5 Data / Kilde sti Feltet er udfyldt med den sti, hvori C5 dataene i en standard C5 installation er placeret. Det er muligt manuelt at ændre denne stiangivelse, såfremt C5 dataene er placeret et andet sted. SQL server adgangskontrol / Windows adgangskontrol Såfremt der er tale om en SQL database, skal det vælges hvilken adgangskontrol der skal benyttes. DB Server Angiv servernavnet på C5 SQL serveren, såfremt der er tale om en SQL database. DB Bruger/ DB Password Hvis der ovenfor blev valgt SQL adgangskontrol, angives her bruger og password. 4
DB Navn Vælg den C5 SQL database der skal kopieres, såfremt der er tale om en SQL database. Backup sti Angiv eller vælg stien til hvor sikkerhedskopien skal gemmes. Denne sti anvendes kun såfremt feltet Brænd CD/DVD på fanen Backup ikke er markeret. fanebladet Backup Brænd CD/DVD Vælg om der skal brændes en CD/DVD. Ingen fil backup Hvis der på fanen Indstillinger er valgt Native, kan dette felt markeres. Såfremt feltet markeres, vil filerne blive kopieret direkte til CD'en/DVD'en i stedet for at blive kopieret til backup biblioteket. Denne valgmulighed er relevant, hvis det ønskes at spare på diskpladsen. CD/DVD enhed Vælg CD/DVD enheden, hvortil dataene skal kopieres. Sidste backup: Her vil seneste backup-dato være oplyst. Endvidere vil logfilen fra sikkerhedskopien blive vist (Backuplog.log). Logfilen bliver automatisk oprettet i mappen med C5 dataene. 5
Menupunktet Start Backup Ved hjælp af denne knap startes selve sikkerhedskopiering. Men husk at definere relevante oplysninger på fanen Indstillinger inden sikkerhedskopieringen igangsættes. Hvordan bruges Backup applikationen - Start Backup applikationen ved at vælge Start/Alle programmer/microsoft Dynamics C5/Administration/ Backup Tool. - Angiv relevante indstillinger på Fanen Indstillinger - Vælg om der skal brændes en CD/DVD m.m. på fanen Backup - Vælg knappen Start backup for at foretage selve sikkerhedskopieringen.
