1. EN End-user guide Use and function FutureVent is a decentralized ventilation system with integrated heat recovery. The System ensures good indoor climate and designed for comfort ventilation in e.g. offices, schools, day care centres, apartment buildings and singlefamily houses. FutureVent consists of minimum two ventilation units or units with two-way air exchange. The units coordinates and distributes the incoming and exhaust work between them, so the air change is kept either at a constant predefined level or adjusted according as needed. Dimensioning the number of units is done according to the need for air change in the room/building. The picture below shows the components of which the FutureVent consists: 1 2 3 4 6 7 5 8 1. Outdoor screen 2. Outdoor drip edge 3. Isolation box 4. Control unit 5. Regenerator the unit s heat storage. Here the heat is recycled and the incoming air is preheated. 6. Ventilator row with fans. The ventilator row turns the flow through the regenerators. The turn rail has a build in damper, which minimizes draught in case of strong winds. The fans generates the flow through the unit. The fans are mounted on the turn rail, whereby the flow can be regulated in both directions through the unit. 7. Mounting frame for indoor grill. 8. Indoor grill designed to prevent draught. Controlling NV Advance or NV Comfort controls FutureVent via analogue or digital signals (0-10V), for further information see the section Operation. FutureVent must not be used explosive areas. 3
Operation FutureVent is mounted as a VAV-ventilation, either as a part of a NV Advance or a NV Comfort solution. With a NV Comfort solution it is possible to overrule FutureVent manually, for further information see the installation instruction for NV Comfort. For operation parameters see the NV Advance or NV Comfort documentation respectively. During maintenance disconnection is done via the safety switch / group switch, installed in the technician room or in a room by each unit. During operation, disconnection is done via the control system (NV Advance or NV Comfort ). Maintenance Maintenance should be carried out every 12 month and should include: Cleaning of ventilator row and inspection of regenerators Controlling that all fans are turning Controlling that there is no visible damage to the ribbon cable to the turning cylinder. In case of damage to the cable or other visible defects, please contact WindowMaster Cleaning During cleaning, please follow the following procedure: 1. Switch of FutureVent on the power switch. 2. Remove the indoor grill. 3. Release the two clamps of the ribbon cables female plug by pushing the clamps in opposite directions. Then gently pull out the plug of the ribbon cable s male plug. Pull out the ventilator row and vacuum it. Be careful not to damage the temperature sensor, which is located close to the ribbon cable. 4. Vacuum the regenerators. 5. Check the regenerators and in case coating wash them in a dishwasher. Max temperature 60 C. Use traditional dishwasher detergent (powder or tabs). 6. Check the isolation box on the inside and cleaned if necessary. Aside from cleaning, no further maintenance is necessary. Disposal Trained personnel must perform dismantling of the installation. 4
2. DK Slutbrugervejledning Anvendelse og funktion FutureVent er et decentralt ventilationssystem med indbygget varmegenvinding. Systemet sikrer godt indeklima og er beregnet til komfortventilation i fx kontorer, skoler, daginstitutioner, etageboliger og enfamilieshuse. FutureVent består af minimum to ventilationsenheder eller af enheder med tovejs luftskifte. Enhederne koordinerer og fordeler ind- og udblæsningsarbejdet mellem sig, så luftskiftet enten holdes på et konstant prædefineret niveau eller justeres efter behov. Antallet af enheder er dimensioneret i forhold til behovet for luftskifte i rummet/bygningen. FutureVent er her vist i adskilt form og består af følgende komponenter: 1 2 3 4 6 7 5 8 1. Udvendig skærm 2. Udvendig drypnæse 3. Isolationsboks 4. Styreenhed 5. Regenerator enhedens varmelager. Her genvindes varmen og indblæsningsluften forvarmes. 6. Ventilatorrække med ventilatorer. Ventilatorrækken vender flowet gennem regeneratoren. I drejeskinnen er der indbygget en spjældfunktion, som minimerer trækgener ved kraftig vindpåvirkning. Ventilatorerne genererer flowet gennem enheden. Ventilatorerne monteres i drejeskinnen, hvorved flowet kan reguleres i begge retninger gennem enheden. 7. Montageramme til indvendig rist 8. Indvendig rist designet således at der ikke sker kuldenedfald. Styring FutureVent styres af NV Advance eller NV Comfort via analoge og digitale signaler (0-10V). Se mere under afsnittet Betjening. Afbrydelse ved service sker ved afbrydelse på sikkerhedsafbryder/gruppeafbryder, der monteres i teknikrum eller i hvert rum ved enhed. Afbrydelse ved drift sker via styringssystemet (NV Advance eller NV Comfort ). Vedligehold Vedligeholdelse bør ske hver 12. måned. Vedligeholdelse bør omfatte: Rengøring af ventilatorrække og inspektion af regeneratorer Tjek, at alle ventilatorer kører rundt Kontrol af, hvorvidt der ikke er synligt brud på fladkablet til drejecylinder. Ved brud på fladkablet eller andre synlige fejl, kontakt venligst WindowMaster Rengøring Ved rengøring bør følgende procedure følges: 1. Sluk for FutureVent på afbryderkontakten 2. Fjern indvendig rist 3. Frigør fladkabelhunstikkets to låsearme fra stikket ved at skubbe dem samtidigt i modsat retning. Træk herefter forsigtigt stikket ud af fladkabelhanstikket. Du kan nu trække ventilatorindsatsen ud og støvsuge. Vær opmærksom på ikke at beskadige temperatursensoren, der er placeret tæt på fladkablet. 4. Regeneratoren støvsuges 5. Kontrollér og vask regenerator i opvaskemaskine, hvis der forekommer belægninger. Vaskes ved max. Temperatur 60 C. Anvend traditionel opvaskemaskinepulver eller -tabs. 6. Isolationsboksen inspireres indvendigt og rengøres efter behov. Ud over rengøring skal der ikke foretages yderligere vedligehold. Bortskaffelse Afmontering af anlæg skal udføres af faglært instrueret personale. 6
