VISION The vision for this project is to design a hospice and a daycare center, also offering evening and night stays, where fusion between nature, the building, facili es and the user s needs is created. This forces a house with architecture, influencing the pa ents well-being and contribu ng the relieving process, with the aim to increase the pa ent s life quality and make them able to enjoy and accomplish the last part of life. A place exuding a homely atmosphere by using human scale architecture, material tac lity s, the poten als of the surrounding landscape and climate condi ons as daylight. To create the best possible comfort for the pa ent s a substan al focus will be on indoor climate concerning thermal and atmospheric, acous c and visual indoor climate especially in rooms primarily used by the pa ents. Concerning Energy op miza on the aim is to fulfil the standards of Low energy class, 2015. This should be achieved by using passive energy solu ons, as for example solar heat gaining.
