Faculty groupings (Sub-) departments Centers Research groups Projects Organiseringen skal tilrettelægges i en projektlignende struktur på basis af forskergrupperinger. Der ønskes ikke en organisering i afdelinger, der bygger på den gamle institutstruktur. 10
Structure and MUS det bliver en opgave for institutlederne at finde den mest hensigtsmæssige form. Det er da også rigtigt, at institutledere umuligt kan gennemføre MU-samtaler med hundrede medarbejdere. Her er det nok mere hensigtsmæssigt, at det gennemføres på et lavere niveau, fx af forskningsledere med 6-10 forskere. Samtalerne skal gennemføres af fagfolk, ikke af djøf -ledere. Og det skal ikke være surrogatledelse. Strukturen er godt nok hierarkisk fra institutlederne og opad. Men det skal fx ikke være sådan, at den, der skal gennemføre MU-samtalerne ikke har reelle beføjelser, for så har samtalen ingen betydning.
