TheMFIP/DWPSelf-SupportIndex(S-SI)isthepercentofadultseligibleforMFIPorDWPthatareofcashassistanceorareonandworkingat least30hoursperweekthreeyearsafterabaselinequarter.therangeofexpectedperformance(rep)isatargetrangeindividualtoeachcounty thatcontrolsforvariablesbeyondthecontrolofthecounty,includingcaseloadcharacteristicsandeconomicvariables. Whyisthismeasureimportant? Providingsupportthatalowsfamiliestheopportunitytoatainandmaintainemploymentisanessentialroleofcountygovernment.Counties contributetoandsupportemploymentthroughprovidingemploymentservicesandcoordinatingotherresourcessuchashousing,childcare,and healthcarethatsupportaperson sabilitytogetandkeepajob.
