The lecturer is highly qualified, very well organized and has a very good understanding of his field. It is hard to say anything about the course given that we only have had 4 lectueres, where one of them was an More discussion and student involvement would be nice. I was expecting him, though, to reschedule some of the lectures we lost in the begining of the semester, instead of trying to squeeze the material in the remaining lectures. introduction. It works well, but it would be nice if the slides were shorter so that we had a chance to get through them during the lectures :-) Having only participated in a very limited amount of lectures, my ability to answer is limited. But based on these lectures the teaching is great, excellent as-we-go notation in slides and one of the best presentation styles that I've encountered during the last semesters at econ.ku I'm extremely disappointed with the course so far and worried about the exam now that it is no longer possible to cancel the registrations for the course. I am perfectly aware that one cannot control absence because of illness but it leaves me and, for sure, also some of the other course members in a state of uncertainty about what's going to happen now that so much time has been lost/wasted? I know we, as students, are responsible for our own learning. That is perfectly fine but, on the other hand, we are entitled to hours of lectures to times a week from week 6 to 9 (except holidays) cf. the official course page. That is what I registered for, and I do not see how all the cancelled lectures can be replaced before week 9? Nevertheless, I have enjoyed the very few lectures which have not been cancelled but,

As a result, the later slides are either postponed to unfortunately, it gets overshadowed by the extreme amount of uncertainty regarding the (lack of) lectures and the remaining part of the course due to all the cancellations. next lecture or rushed. The lectureslides are maybe too large and we seldom get through it all. It would be better, if you could skip the small talk, and teach the mathematics in much more detail. I find it hard to go through at home, when it is not taught at the lecture. Overall, you are a good lecturer and know youre stuff well, and I am very glad that i took this class.
