Procedures for entering New Apprenticeship Agreement: 1. The agreement is arranged between the farmer, the student and the mentor (school). 2. The mentor makes a competency assessment of the student in the company. 3. The mentor is the facilitator of New Apprenticeship including follow-ups and the final practical test. 4. The following schedule will be used to agree on the division of responsibilities between the farmer and the school in relation to the learning goals the student must achieve in the New Apprenticeship Agreement prior to start on the first main course. 5. The mentor will then prepare an education plan including possible school courses for the students New Apprenticeship. 6. The final practical test is arranged in the company at the end of the first year after the start of the New Apprenticeship. This will be arranged between the student, the farmer and the mentor. 7. Målet med undervisningen er, at eleven kan: 1)anvende enkel biologisk viden i forbindelse med praktisk arbejde i forhold til elevens uddannelsesområde, 2)redegøre for biologisk tankegang og metode, 3)arbejde eksperimentelt med faget ud fra en biologisk tankegang, 4)dokumentere og formidle resultater af sit arbejde med biologiske emner, 5)redegøre for de biologiske sammenhænge og disses indflydelse på miljøet og 6)redegøre for mindst 3 af følgende områder: a) Centrale økologiske sammenhænge e) Insekters anatomi og fysiologi b) Principper for nedarving f) Mikroorganismers anatomi og fysiologi c) Planters anatomi og fysiologi g) Bioteknologi d) Dyrs anatomi og fysiologi h) Menneskekroppen Arbejdsmiljø Modul 1 Undervisningens mål er, at eleven kan: 1)bidrage til bestræbelserne på at skabe det bedst mulige arbejdsmiljø gennem deltagelse i og gennemførelse af arbejdspladsvurderinger (APV), 2)reflektere og konkret forholde sig til potentielle farer og ulykker før løsning af en arbejdsopgave, 3)anvende viden til at forebygge arbejdsbetingede belastningslidelser og ulykker, herunder kan foretage valg af hensigtsmæssige arbejdsstillinger og bevægelser, 4)anvende arbejdspladsbrugsanvisninger til brug for substitution med henblik på at forebygge arbejdsskader og 5)anvende viden om det fysiske, kemisk-biologiske og psykosociale arbejdsmiljø til at tilrettelægge hensigtsmæssige arbejdsgange med henblik på at forebygge belastninger Førstehjælp og brand Undervisningens mål er, at eleven kan yde: 1)hjerte-lunge-redning 2)livreddende førstehjælp 3)førstehjælp ved tilskadekomst 4)førstehjælp ved sygdomme 5)færdselsrelateret førstehjælp 6)elementær brandbekæmpelse Naturfag 1) Eleven kan foretage beregninger i sammenhæng med det naturfaglige arbejde. 2) Eleven kan arbejde eksperimentelt med faget ud fra en naturfaglig tankegang. 3) Eleven kan arbejde sikkerhedsmæssigt korrekt med udstyr og kemikalier. 4) Eleven kan søge, udvælge og anvende relevante naturfaglige informationer fra forskellige informationskilder, herunder fra it-baserede informationskilder. 5) Eleven kan dokumentere og formidle resultater af sit arbejde med naturfaglige emner. 6) Eleven kan anvende naturfaglige begreber og modeller til at forklare erhvervsfaglige problemstillinger med naturfagligt indhold. 6

The goal of the course is, that the student can: 1)use simple biological knowledge for practical work in relation to the student s education 2)eplain biological thinking and methodology 3)work eperimentally with the subject from a biological thinking, 4)document and disseminate the results of its work on biological topics 5)eplain the biological relationship and their impact on the environment and 6)account for at least 3 of the following areas: a) Key ecological contets e) insect anatomy and physiology b) principles of inheritance f) micro-anatomy and physiology c) plant anatomy and physiology g) biotechnology d) animal anatomy and physiology h) the human body Work module 1 Aim of the training is that the student can: 1)contribute to the effort to create the best possible working environment through participation in and implementation of risk assessment (RA) 2)reflect and specifically relate to potential hazards and accidents before tackling a task, 3)apply the knowledge to prevent work-related stress disorders and injuries, including to make the choice of appropriate postures and movements, 4)apply workplace instructions for use for substitution in order to prevent injuries and 5)apply knowledge of the physical, chemical, biological and psychosocial working to develop an appropriate work procedures in order to prevent loads First aid and fire Aim of the training is that the student can provide: 1)heart-lung rescue 2)life-saving first aid 3)first aid in case of injury 4)first aid in diseases 5)traffic-related first aid 6)basic firefighting Natural Sciences 1) The student can perform calculations in connection with the natural sciences work. 2) The student can work eperimentally with the subject from a natural sciences thinking. 3) The student can work safely with proper equipment and chemicals. 4) The student can browse, select and apply appropriate natural science information from various sources, including from IT-based information sources. 5) The student can demonstrate and communicate results of its work science topics. 6) The student can apply natural science concepts and models to eplain professional issues with natural content areas. 7

School Education Programs: Module, duration 2 weeks, Crop Machinery The contents of this module will provide the international students at New Apprenticeship to obtain competences which are difficult to obtain at their workplace. The contents of the course will be arranged individually with the student and the subjects will primarily be: Soil science, Technical installations, Machinery and Agricultural tools, Crops, Growing conditions, Cycle of nature, Nitrogen cycle and Practical work in the field. The teaching will provide the student to obtain skills and competences to understand the Danish education culture and able him to accomplish 1 st and 2 nd Main Course. Module, duration 2 weeks, Livestock Science Biology The contents of this module will provide the international students at New Apprenticeship to obtain competences, which are difficult to obtain at their workplace. The contents of the course is arranged individually, with the student and the subjects will primarily be First aid, Firefighting, Milking certificate, Medicine handling, Science F, Biology F - Eam. Livestock and Driving license for tractor. Furthermore, the student will be offered a course in Basic chemistry, if needed. The teaching will provide the student to obtain skills and competences to understand the Danish education culture and able him to accomplish 1 st and 2 nd Main Course. Module, duration 2 weeks, Livestock Science Biology - 26 The contents of this module will provide the international students at New Apprenticeship to obtain competences, which are difficult to obtain at their workplace. The contents of the course will be arranged individually with the student and the subjects will primarily be Biology F, Science F - 26, Workshop Livestock, Firefighting, Organic farming and Driving license for tractor (if needed). The teaching will provide the student to obtain skills and competences to understand the Danish education culture and able him to accomplish 1 st and 2 nd Main Course. 9

Course schedule 1 st Main Course New Apprenticeship Period: 2016 Date: The 4 th of August until the 21 st of December The college is closed: The 21 st of March until 28 th of March both days inclusive The 22 nd of April The 5 th and 6 th of May The 16 th of May Period: 2017 Date: The 24 th of January until the 24 th of May Date: The 4 th of September until the 22 nd of December 1 st Main Course, duration 16 weeks At the international 1st Main Course you will work with subjects in relation to the eperiences and learning you will achieve during your apprenticeship. You will work with theory and practical cases organized into 3 main themes. During the classes you will learn and epand your knowledge and knowhow in the areas of: production economy, feeding, fodder and fodder quality, fodder production, spraying (part 1 and 4), ecology/organic farming, natural science, animal behavior, welfare, health, prevention of disease, diseases, breeding, agricultural technic, etc. At the end of the course you will make a larger integrated project which will be the foundation for the final eam. 10
