Forslag 6a: Forslag fra Nanna Mikkelsen: World show ændring/tilføjelse til 2.9 (? nyt stk. 2.10?) Det henstilles til arrangør, at kattene bliver raceopdelt på kommende WW. Begrundelse: Seneste World Show i Malmö var fordelingen opdelt i lande. En del af WW er netop, at møde andre opdrættere og udstillere, at fremme kendskabet til racer - på tværs af lande se forskelle og evt. ligheder. Der var 84 burmeser fordelt på mange lande. Når jeg skulle prøve at finde de forskellige burmesere, skulle jeg først via kataloget finde ud af, hvilket land udstillerne kom fra, derefter hvor ringene var placeret, og så igen hvor i ringene de var placeret. Og ikke alle burmesere var placeret i den samme ring. Jeg opgav desværre hurtigt. Det ville også have været godt at træffe de forskellige opdrættere og få sat ansigter på dem, som man kender via mail og facebook, samt at få nye kontakter. World Show change/add to 2.9 Requirement for the coming World Show, that the cats are located together in cat breed at coming World Shows. Argument: At the latest World Show 2015 in Malmø the cats were located in areas of countries. A part of WW is exactly to meet other breeders and exhibitors to improve the knowledge of breeds - cross country - to see differences and eventual equalities. There were 84 Burmese cats from many different countries. When you tried to find the different Burmese cats and breeders, you had to look through the catalogue to discover which country the exhibitors were from, and then where the rings were placed and then again where in the ring the exhibitors were placed. I quickly gave up. It would have been great to have met the different breeders from which I know through mail correspondence and facebook and to get new contacts.

Addition to Fife Show Rules: Presentation procedures: 6, 6.7.2 Section C: "If an exhibitor is not able - or does not want to, bring the cat to the judge no or introduce cats to the judge, the steward is obliged to fetch the cat and put it in the cage in the judge's ring and present it to the judge " Addition to Fife Rules for Judges and student judges: General 1.2 Code of Ethics: Judges are representatives of FIFe and shall conduct themselves as such Judges, whether judging, exhibiting or visiting a show, shall not cause disruption a show A judge, who visits an exhibition in company with an exhibitor / breeder other than friendly basis, must act anonymously and retracted towards the working judges so he / she can in no way give rise to unfair interest influence the ratings. It must therefore NOT be legal for a judge to bring a friend s cat to the judge. PROPOSAL 2. Addition to: Fife Rules for Judges and student judges: General 1.5: Exhibition of cats when officiating as a judge or as at student judge Exhibits belonging to members of an officiating judge s household cannot compete at such a show. If a judge is on close friendly terms or co-owner of/ with breeder, this should ALWAYS be taken into account in a judge distribution, and this judge NOT allowed to judge this breeder s cats, og co-owned cats
Forslag 6c Forretningsudvalgets forslag nr. 1: Tilføjelse til Felis Danicas vedtægter 16: Nyt stk. 9: At overholde FIFes og Felis Danicas love og vedtægter, herunder afgørelser truffet af Felis Danicas forretningsudvalg Nyt sidste afsnit: Såfremt Forretningsudvalgets påbud medfører eksklusion, kan medlemmet først igen optages som medlem i en klub under Felis Danica, hvis klubben fremsætter forslag herom på en plenarforsamling og forslaget vedtages med almindeligt flertal. Et sådant forslag kan tidligst fremsættes 5 år efter eksklusionens ikrafttræden. Et medlem, der har fået karantæne på forretningsudvalgets foranledning, og som melder sig ud af sin klub under karantænen, betragtes som ekskluderet. Forretningsudvalget kan give såvel hoved- som specialklubber påbud om ikke at acceptere ansøgning om medlemskab fra personer, der enten tidligere har gjort sig skyldig i overtrædelse af love og vedtægter for Felis Danica eller klubber herunder, eller som Forretningsudvalget skønner vil bringe dansk kattesport i miskredit. Et sådant påbud kan prøves på en plenarforsamling på forslag fra en hoved- eller specialklub. Forslag 6d Forretningsudvalgets forslag nr. 2 Forslag til tilføjelse til FIFes Breeding and Registration Rules 3.6 Cats not allowed for breeding: Nyt stk. 3.6.1: 3.6.1 Ancestry and based on The ancestry of a cat (article 3.6.2) is considered to be the 9 generations prior to the actual cat. The term based on (articles 3.6 & 3.6.3) is considered as any wild cat within any number of generations prior to the actual cat. Renumbering of the present 3.6.1 3.6.4 Motivation The terms ancestry and based on are both used in article 3.6, but the actual definition of these terms are not given in the rules, and are consequently open for interpretation. We wish to make sure that a common understanding of these terms are reached and entered into the rules.
Forslag 6e Forretningsudvalgets forslag nr. 3 Modification of FIFe Show Rules 1.8 Modification of section b and c of Show rules 1.8 Conditions for an international show b. A veterinarian is present at the entrance to the show in order to examine all the exhibits and can be reached during the entire show. c. The cats have been vaccinated by a veterinary surgeon veterinarian in accordance with each country s veterinary regulations, against feline panleucopenia, feline calici virus and feline herpes virus, and have always had the required boosters at least 15 days prior to the show, regardless of the cat s prior vaccination status. Motivation It should be clear from the 2nd part of section b that all cats are to be examined by the show veterinarian, as cats are exempt from examination on day 2 of a 2-day show. However, it has recently been clear that this rule is open for interpretation by the show administrators; we wish to eliminate this possibility. Section C similarly has been interpreted creatively on some shows, and we wish to make sure that all show administrators have the same understanding of the requirements. Finally, we feel that it makes sense to use the term veterinarian in both sections, hence the change in section c. Forslag 6f Forretningsudvalgets forslag nr. 4 Forslag til ændring af Felis Danicas vedtægter 13 Mentorrådet Stk. 1. Mentorrådet består af 7 5 medlemmer. Ved hver ordinær plenarforsamling suppleres det siddende Mentorråd op til 7 5 medlemmer. Motivation Det har vist sig at der ikke længere er arbejde til 7 medlemmer, og et mindre antal vil gøre det nemmere at arrangere møder.
Forslag 6g Forslag fra Dansk Siameser og Orientaler Ring & Rex og Sphynx-klubben Forslag til tilføjelse til Felis Danicas nationale stambogsføringsregler Dansk Siameser og Orientaler Ring (DSO), og Rex og Sphynx-klubben, specialklubber under Felis Danica, ønsker at stille følgende forslag om en racespecifik tilføjelse til Felis Danicas nationale stambogsføringsregler med henvisning 3.5.1 i FIFe s Avls- & Registreringsregler. Nyt afsnit 1.3.7 1.3.7 Registrering af kuld efter SIA, BAL, OSH, OLH, (SYS, SYL), PEB, samt racekryds med disse. Avlskatte skal være DNA testet for CEP290 (PRA-rdAC) inden tidspunkt for parringen, med mindre begge deres forældre beviseligt er PRA fri (N/N). Kun følgende parringer må foretages: PRA fri x PRA fri (N/N) PRA fri x PRA bærer (N/rdAc) Laboratorie-certifikat, påført kattens ID-nr. (øremærke eller chip), indsendes til Felis Danica senest sammen med stamtavleansøgningen. FD skal registrere og publicere resultatet som beskrevet i B&R 3.5.1 Vedtages forslaget, ønskes det videresendt til FIFe s generalforsamling med håbet om, at det også kan ophøjes til en FIFe regel (selvfølgelig med de nødvendige tilpasninger). DSO s opdrættere har i en del år været opmærksomme på en relativt stor forekomst af arvelig PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) i vores genpulje. UC Davis anslår, at ca. 33 % af vores katte er bærere af denne sygdom. Sygdommen medfører kraftigt nedsat syn eller blindhed og må betragtes som en kronisk lidelse. Der forefindes en pålidelig og økonomisk rimelig test (CEP290 (PRA-rdAC)), som kan udføres baseret på mundskrab, bl.a. af det anerkendte laboratorium UC Davis. En ændring af gældende regler med henblik på at fjerne én uønsket egenskab bør ikke gå så radikalt til værks, at man lukker øjnene for andre alvorlige problemer og begrænser genpuljen unødigt. Fokus har derfor ikke været på at fjerne PRA genet fra vores genpulje hurtigst muligt, men at undgå opdræt, der giver syge (blinde) dyr. Målet over tid bør naturligvis være at arbejde sig væk fra bærerne. DSO har de sidste par år valgt at se tiden an og lade en kultur med rutinemæssig PRA test brede sig naturligt blandt opdrætterne. Da emnet igen blev taget op og debatteret grundigt på vores sidste GF i 2015, var der dog generel stemning for, at det nu var tid til at gøre disse tests obligatoriske, bl.a. for at sikre at samtlige opdrættere er opmærksomme på problemstillingen.
Forslag 6h Forslag fra Maine Coon Klubben Danmark Proposal for a revised standard for Maine Coon II MCO Maine Coon Standard The Maine Coon is a natural breed of amiable character that traces its origin to the working cat found on the farms of Northeast America. General Appearance The Breed of the Maine Coon is large framed with a square outline of the head The Maine Coon is a large breed with big ears, a wedge shaped head with a square muzzle, broad chest, solid bone structure, a long hard muscled, rectangular body and a long flowing tail. Good muscle tone and density give the cat the appearance of power and robustness. Size Large. Head Shape Medium in size, square outline. Profile with a gentle concave slope. Broad modified wedge. Size in proportion to body. Slightly longer than wide with a square outline to the muzzle. Forehead Gently curved. Cheeks Face Profile Muzzle Chin Cheekbones high and prominent. Face and nose of medium length Wedge shaped, slightly longer than wide, with a square outline of to the muzzle. Distinct transition can be felt between muzzle and cheekbones. Profile with a gentle slope. Wide and deep enough to complete square look of muzzle. Firm, in vertical alignment with nose and upper lip. Ears Shape Large, wide at base. Moderately pointed. Lynx tufts are desirable. Tufts of hair in the ears extend beyond outer edges of ears. Placement Set high on head with a very slight outward tilt. Ears should be placed one ear s width apart. The width extends slightly in older cats. Lower base set just slightly further back than upper base. Eyes Shape Large and widely set. Slightly oval, but not almond shaped, appear round when Colour wide open. Set slightly slanted towards the outer base of the ear. Any colour is permitted. There is no relationship between eye- and coat colour. Clear eye colour is desirable. Neck Medium long. Males have a very strong muscled neck. Body Structure The body should be long, substantial bone structure. Hard muscled, powerful, broad chested. Large framed, all parts of the body in proportion to create a rectangular appearance. Legs Substantial, wide set, medium length to form a rectangle with the body. Paws Large, round and well tufted between the toes. Tail At least as long as the body from shoulderblade to base of tail. Wide at the base tapering to the tip; with full, flowing hair. The hair on the tail is long and always remains flowing.
Coat Structure All weather coat. Dense. Short on head, shoulders and legs, becoming gradually longer down the back and sides, with long, full shaggy baggy trousers on the hind legs and belly fur. A frill is expected. ending in full britches and long, shaggy belly fur. Frontal ruff. Texture silky. Coat has distinct body, falling smoothly. The undercoat is soft and fine, covered by the coarse smooth outer coat. Colour All colour varieties are permitted, including all colour varieties with white, except pointed patterns and chocolate and lilac, cinnamon and fawn. Any amount of white is allowed, i.e. a white blaze, white locket, white chest, white on the belly, white on the paws, etc. Condition The Maine Coon should always be in good balance, condition and proportion. Remarks Type must always take preference over colour.size. Very slow maturing of the breed should be taken into account. Mature males may have larger and broader heads than females. Females are proportionally smaller than males. Allowance must be made for this significant difference in size. Length of coat and density of undercoat vary with the seasons. Faults General Unbalanced proportions. Overall small cat. Head Square head. Round head. Straight or convex profile. Nose Nose break Muzzle Pronounced whisker pads, pinch. Round or pointed muzzle. Recognised Colour Varieties: Unchanged Motivation for the proposed changes in the MCO standard: The FIFe standard is the only standard of all MCO standards that calls for a square head. How the squareness to the muzzle became squareness to the head in the standard is uncertain to us, as this description was not in the Danish proposal put forward at the FIFe GA in Warsaw in 1993. However, the final and current standard of 1993 has in fact resulted in square heads with too little difference in width of the upper head and muzzle, and large ears, too large, placed too close and too erect. This is not the look of a MCO and it is absolutely undesired. It is our wish that the MCO has a worldwide uniformed look, not a look
where FIFe MCO sticks out being different to the extreme. We strongly believe that the changes and amendments to the standard of 1993 are necessary to preserve the look of the Maine Coon breed, a working cat, the keyword being harmony and balance. Motivation for the proposed changes in the MCO standard: General appearance In the standard from 1993 the head of a Maine Coon is described as square. This is and has never been correct. The only thing square in the head is the muzzle. The squareness has resulted in narrow heads with upper head and muzzle as being equal in width, with ears too high and too close together. We wish that the description of the head becomes more specific and correct. Head As described above, the head is not square but wedge shaped, and it should be added that the head is in proportion to the body. To avoid the square but too small muzzles we see now, profile is added instead of nose, describing the shape of the wedge and muzzle, Neck: It is added that it is medium long, it is not described in the current standard. Body structure: Level back is added to clarify that the MCO has the same height front and back. The rump is square when viewed from the back is added to clarify that the MCO is as broad in the chest as in the back/rump. Coat structure. It is the belly fur that is shaggy, not the baggy trousers. Faults: Head: Square head is added, as it is a fault, the head must not be square! Nose: Pronounced nose bumps are highly undesirable; a slight bump is accepted, especially in kittens. Chin: Receding chin, narrow chin, lack of depth. A weak or receding chin will not form a square muzzle. Likewise a narrow chin or lack of depth. Ears: Rounded ears, very close set ears, set straight on the head and narrow bases have been added. Body: Narrow chest is added. Coat: Overall short coat is added, unless seasonal, it is not desirable Our motivation for presenting this proposal for a revised standard for Maine Coon is that; We see too many stilt and high legged Maine Coons around the world, with narrow head shape and erect narrow ears. We want to get back to the broad working Maine Coon breed, which is large and has the right proportions. We believe with this revised standard, we can come back on the right track again Maine Coon Klubben Danmark
Forslag 6i Forslag fra BB-klubben Ændringsforslag til de nationale stambogsføringsregler i Felis Danica 1.3.6 Registrering af BRI BSH/BLH kuld Alle hankatte af racen British Shorthair/Longhair skal være HCM scannet med resultat normal før tidspunkt for parring. Scanningen må på tidspunktet for parringen højst være: 12 måneder gammel for katte yngre end eller lig med 3 år. 24 måneder gammel for katte ældre end 3 år (for katte mellem 3-4 år må attesten dog højst være 12 måneder gammel). Katte som er scannet normal efter det fyldte 7. år behøver ikke fremadrettet indsende fornyet scanningsattest. Scanningsattest skal fremsendes sammen med stamtavlerekvisitionens øvrige attester. Af scanningsattesten skal fremgå følgende: Kattens fuldstændige navn, registreringsnummer, og IDmærkning. Attesten skal være Felis Danicas HCM attest. For udenlandsk ejede hankatte, kan der anvendes en anden, tilsvarende, attest. Scanningen skal, for katte ejet af opdrættere bosat i Danmark, være udført af en dyrlæge der er medlem af Ekkogruppen. Begrundelse: EMS-koden for BRI ændres pr. 01.01.16 BSH. BLH er på vej til at blive en godkendt søskenderace, derfor bør 1.3.6 i de nationale avls- & registreringsregler omfatte både BSH samt BLH.
