CommunityInvolvement FormanyyearsTEAM worksonanumberofissuesforraisingawarenessaboutchildprotection andpromotingpositivesocialnormsinlocalcommunity.team Internationalcontinuessupporting morethan10localchildrenhouses,orphanhousesandboardingschools,andprovidingthem with clothesandlivingessentials,muchneededequipmentandmedicine.wesupportcentreof SocialServicesforFamiliesandYouth,KharkivBoardingSchool#2,KharkivRehabilitation CentreandKharkivCharitableOrganization OrphansofKharkov. InH12016westartedanotherimportantprojectatKharkivRegionalSpecialisedOrphanage#1 whichisahometo60orphanedchildrenwithcentralnervoussystem disordersandmental developmentchalenges.theprojectisaimedatimprovingconditionsandcreatinganew rehabilitationspaceforchildrenwhosuferseverediseases.team ishelpingwithneeded constructionmaterialsfornewoficesandphysicaltherapyroomsforseverelyilchildren. Onthe1stofJune-UniversalChildren sdayinukraine-wevisitedourlong-timepartner, KharkivBoardingSchool#2.It sahometoabandonedchildrenwithmentalchalenges.we deliveredaperformancewithgiantsoapbubbles,whichwasagreatsuccessamongkids. Inaddition,in2016wealsostartedprovidingtargetedassistanceforinternalydisplacedfamilies withchildren,aswelasthefamiliesofato soldiers,childrenwithcardiovasculardiseasesand cancer. Ontopofregularvisits,wecontinueSweetAction,ourannualcharityinitiativewithinthe company.themoneyraisedbysweetactionaretransferedtolocalorphanagesandboarding schools.
EducationSupport Ourcompanyofersaneducationalprogram toassistineducatingyoungtalentsinpractical softwaredevelopment.team/karazintopgunlabisafuly-equippedcomputerlaboratory foundedbyteam InternationaltogetherwithKarazinKharkivNationalUniversitySchoolof ComputerSciencesin2013.TEAM/KarazinLabProgram ofersstudentsyear-round master-classesandtrainings.thelectorsareteam stopexperts.eachcoursehas100+lecture atendeesand30-40ful-timestudents.3-5graduatesfrom eachcourseareemployedbyteam. InH12016twocourseswereconducted: ProfessionalJavaScript (26graduates)and IT RecruitmentBasics (5graduates).TEAM alsowasamemberoforganisingcommiteefor ScientificandTechnicalConference"ComputermodelinginhightechnologiesKMNT2016 at KharkivKarazinUniversity. OnMarch25-27thwehavebecomeaSilverPartnerforSpinO fhack,astudents hackathonthat grewoutof48hack,thekarazinuniversityeventsupportedbyteam for3consequentyears. Thiswasagrandopportunityfortheyoungergenerationtoexpressthemselvesandtoactivate theirskils,acquirenewones,andlearnfrom theexperiencedprofessionals.
VolunteeringHelpProgram Inadditiontospecificlocalprograms,TEAM Internationalencouragesandsupportsemployee volunteerism year-round.thecompanycontinuesvolunteerhelpprogram torecognizeand embraceitscommitmenttothecommunitiesinwhichweoperateinukraine.team partnerswith severaldiferentnon-governmentalvolunteerorganizationssuchaschamomilestationkharkiv, RedCross,ATO Nurse,andcometogethertocreatepositivesocialchangeinourcommunities. EveryweekVolunteeringTeam colectmeansfrom thosewilingtohelp.weoperatethrough reliablevolunteersabovementionedorganizations,ordirectlywithendrecipients.volunteers purchaseessentialitems:diapers,wetnapkins,sanitarymaterials,cariagesandbedsforkids, cereals,sugar,oil,tinnedmeat,andhandoveralcolecteditemstotrustedvolunteers,ordeliver them bythemselves. VolunteeringTeam alsocolectsmeansandmedicalsuppliesandmeansforthewounded soldiersstayinginthekharkivmilitaryhospital.

EnvironmentalCare TEAM ishappytohelpminimisetheenvironmentalimpactinourregion,enhancinghealthand productivityinlocalcommunity. OnJuly22thwesupportedenvironmentalworkshopthatincludedatouroverthelocalEnergy Parkandaseminar GreenTarifsforPrivateHouseholds.Theworkshopwashelpbyoneof TEAM experts,anownerofasolarpowerplant.theparticipantsdiscussedsolarenergyin Kharkiv,theprofitabilityofasolarpowerplant,andthewaystoconnectprivatehouseholdtothe green rates. Thisworkshopwasofgreathelpinbecomingenvironmentalconsciousbyprovidingguidelines onreducingenergyuseandutilisingalternativeenergysources. TEAM activistscontinuearecyclingcampaign,whichencouragesbateriesrecycling. Conventionalbateriescontainmanytoxicelementsthatcauseenvironmentpolution.Volunteers from TEAM haveinstaledboxesforcolectingbateriesofdiferenttypesinalukrainianofices. ColectedbateriesaretobesendtobateriesprocessingplantinLviv.Thebaterycomponents wilbeseparatedintoendproductsandputbackintothemarketplaceforreuseinnewproducts. Everyyearwecolectabout30kgofusedbateries. Thisinitiativewithbateryrecyclingpointsisaveryimportantdirectionduetolackofcentralized wasterecyclingprogram inukraineonthewhole.
