Joseph Ternullo, JD, MPH, is associate director of Partners HealthCare s Center for Connected Health and organizing chair of the Connected Health Symposium, an annual event attracting 1,200 professionals from over 25 countries. A co-founder of Continua Health Alliance, Joe served on its board and as its initial vice president for several years. Active internationally, Joe has served on the MGH and BWH Institutional Review Boards, the American Telemedicine Association's policy committee and the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services' American Health Information Community Chronic Care Workgroup. Currently, Joe serves on the boards of Mass Technology Leadership Council, the Harvard Club of the North Shore, and Massachusetts Health Quality Partners. Joe is on the X PRIZE Foundation s $10M Tricorder Competition Advisory Committee. A co-author of the electronic health records chapter for the upcoming 10th edition of Problems in HealthCare Law, Joe teaches healthcare informatics law at Northeastern University and holds degrees from BC, Bentley, BU and Harvard. Scott Phillips serves as SciMed Partners senior executive in global medical and healthcare technologies specifically in sales, distribution, and marketing settings. He has served in sales and marketing leadership positions with global medical companies including medical devices, health care technologies, and pharmaceuticals. He is also instrumental in SciMed s business development activities in the US and abroad. He brings over 20 years of multi-industry sales and management experience with a record of sales success, team leadership, product launches, and business development expertise. His professional experience includes both corporate and start-up organizations, management of direct sales teams, distributor sales management, working with channel partners, and the management of contract sales teams. In short, he is an entrepreneurial leader with skills in building and motivating teams to meet business objectives. Scott is a graduate at California Polytechnic Institute and State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.
