In the PV-Boost project Cenergia is working with the Gate21 association in Albertslund and a large number of stakeholders incl. Solar City Copenhagen and 14 municipalities to promote building integrated PV in Denmark

Possible development of PV in Denmark according to a basic and both more and less aggressive scenarios. In the basic scenario a PV capacity of 1 GW is obtained in year 2020, and in 2030 the installed PV effect is 3,4 GW equal to 8 % of the electricity use in Denmark.

Active Roofs and Facades Gate21 in cooperation with Cenergia The aim of the proposed project is to work with Danish housing associations, which are very professional organised, to help changing the existing reluctant attitude towards building integration of PV solutions (BIPV), including solutions where PV modules ideally can form the roofing surface. The total proposed implementation for roof exchange, housing renovation and new built housing association projects is focusing at 2,600 apartments and at least 2.6 MWp BIPV capacity.
