TREATMENT PLANNING AND CASE PRESENTATION Achieving esthetic and functional predictability requires a systematic approach to diagnosis and treatment planning. In addition, it is imperative to know when other disciplines may be necessary to help treatment, as well as a variety of required clinical techniques. Through the use of treatment-planning decision trees, you will gain confidence and understanding at knowing which treatment options are available for a number of common, but complex dental problems. The decision tree acts as a road map, which helps walk you through all the treatment options for a specific problem. This presentation will provide a stepby-step process of what to evaluate clinically and in what order to determine which treatment options may be best for your patient. Learn how to present the advantages and disadvantages of each option clearly to your patients, enhancing your relationship with them and their commitment to choosing what the best care is for themselves. In addition to determining the most appropriate treatment plan to enhance esthetics, this presentation will also integrate the functional aspects of treatment. With the use of more all-ceramic restorative options and implants, understanding the role of occlusion is more important than ever before in gaining predictability. In essence, this course provides a systematic approach to diagnosing and treatment planning esthetic dilemmas, knowing when other disciplines may be necessary to help solve them and techniques needed to complete treatment.
SEMINAR OBJECTIVES How to systematically develop treatment plans for cases of any complexity using the Facially Generated Treatment Planning protocol Learn how to analyze faces and modify tooth position based on this analysis Learn how to use decision trees to help with treatment planning and treatment decisions How to show and discuss the different treatment options with your patients so they are engaged in the process, not scared away, yet understand the risks and benefits of treatment. Anette, dintandlæge Lund Wittorff Når man siger Dr. Frank Spear, siger man i samme moment Dr. Gregg Kinzer.
