A total renewal of the signalling system will be cheaper and provide better performance Since the signalling system in Banedanmark have so many ageing installations, a total renewal is the best solution because: Cheapest and fastest implementation Higher punctuality and capacity Several benefits for the passengers Benefits are achieved faster Realising this, led to a political decision in principle of a total renewal of the current signalling system in 2006 The Signalling Programme has set up the budget that led to the financing decision in february 2009.

Nye trafikale regler på jernbanen De trafikale regler er populært sagt færdselsreglerne for jernbanedriften...regler og instruktioner for togkørsel, vedligeholdelse mv. I dag er statens banenet underlagt reglerne i Sikkerhedsreglementet af 1975. På S-banen anvendes der supplerende regler for det nuværende signalsystem.
