Organizers:

Welcome RFID i Danmark 2014 Conference Across various industries first-mover companies are already tracking, tracing, locating, identifying, authenticating every day by using RFID. Why? because they gain significant advantages! The main objective of the RFID i Danmark 2014 conference is to present the benefits which companies private as well as public can gain from Automatic Identification, Locating and Data Capture. Networking; At the conference you will meet key people from companies using RFID for production, logistics, retail, asset management as well as people from RFID Manufacturers and RFID Solution providers. They will share their experiences on how they are using RFID technology to optimize processes and creating financial results in their particular company. Focus will not be on the technologies, but on how companies are gaining advantages. At the Conference you will have the opportunity to listen to both national as well as international presentations on companies results and experiences by using RFID. At the Conference you will hear presentations for the first and probably only time presented in. RFID is increasingly becoming commonly known but most often just believed to be a label replacing a traditional barcode, as we know it from Library Books. We consider any technology capable of identifying an object or a person by the use of Radio Waves to be RFID. In addition to the simple, passive label tags, this includes active tags, NFC, Bluetooth, WiFI tags, RTLS, GPS etc. and all the software, which can ensure that we seamlessly can capture ERP transactions from automatically identifying a certain object at a certain location and point in time. To learn more on actual products and solutions, you can use the unique opportunity to go exploring at the larger- FID exhibition, where the RFID vendors will be ready to explain, demonstrate and answer your questions. If you are new to RFID, or just need a brush-up then this year you will have an opportunity to attend a Introduction to RFID morning session organized by Teknologisk Institut. Henrik B. Granau Founder, RFID i Danmark The conference offers Insight in innovative RFID solutions Insight into RFID cost / benefit Inspiration for your own business Networking and knowledge sharing

Main sponsor: Platin sponsor: Premium sponsor: Granau Sponsors: Granau IT RFID in Danmark It is the intention that on a non-profit basis the network is to be the gathering of all RFID activities in and the purpose is to create opportunities and enhance competitiveness of both public and private companies in through usages of RFID technology. The network, which is organised as an association, works to reach its goals through exchange of experience, construction of a public accessible knowledge database about RFID, newsletters and hosting of events.

Morning session Introduction to RFID The course provides basic introduction to RFIDtechnology used in logistics. RFID technology has many advantages compared to traditional bar codes: The product needs not be within sight, RFID can be read at long range and multiple units and groups can be read simultaneously. RFID has a significantly higher data capacity, and thus it is possible to identify individual items at a greater level of detail. An RFID application could revolutionize the transparency of the supply chain, reduce shrinkage and increase the opportunity for the right amount of goods at the right time in relation to customers. Benefits: A basic knowledge of the use of RFID technology An understanding of the practical issues surrounding the use of RFID A knowledge of how RFID technology can be used in the supply chain A knowledge of the benefits of using RFID technology

They have not known how many textiles they had, where the textiles were, how often the textiles has been washed, if the textiles has gone missing and in that case how many has gone missing or if they had to many or to few textiles for their actual needs. With the RFID based SmartGarment all of these questions are answered. Lunch and Exhibition The RFID-Technology s Potential for Information Flow Between Electronic Producer and Waste Processor based on the EU WEEE-directive By Finn Zoëga, Teknologisk Institut. Waste-processors need detailed and updated knowledge at component level about the presence of substances and materials. EEE-producers are willing to supply the information they regard as non-confidential. Further mapping of exact data requirements is needed followed by discussions about means to exchange this information. An analysis conclude that it is possible to build up a RFID -technological solution that can provide an efficient information flow and knowledge sharing between Electric and Electronic -producers and Waste -processors. This is one of the conclusions that will be revealed here. RFID Projects in Norway by Geir Vevle, CTO HRAFN, traceability technology consulting. Norway has a wide range of RFID projects both ended and ongoing. This session will give an overview of what s hot and not in Norway when it comes to leveraging RFID technology. After 3 years in operation of 2-3 million Flower Containers tagged with RFID-tags logistics operators have demanded a test of the readability and the variability in the reading. The analysis of 1001 containers proved that there might be some wear and tear that could influence the reading in the long run. This influence is important to have in mind for global supply chains. The technical challenge of medical and RFID equipment together Lunch and Exhibition To-be-confirmed To-be-confirmed Implementering af RFID-løsninger baseret på smartphones og tablets af Lars Vesth og Niels Jeppesen, FORCE Technology. In Danish.

Servicevirksomheder Byggesektoren Facility Management virksomheder
