Easy Life Lab CTIF Easy Life Lab is a wireless platform for telehomecare system The goal is to give ease of life through ambient assisted living The lab utilizes RFID tags and readers as well as wireless sensors communicating through WIFI. The complete system offers unique opportunities for conducting research on how to enable monitoring of the elderly or patient and the surrounding environment and how to assists him/her in the everyday life. The platform opens a new door from both research and commercial perspective for the Telehomecare system that is much beyond a web portal to patients' medical information. The challenge is to build a system based on of-the-shelf solution to build a secure and scalable system, and then a robust decision making algorithm adaptable to different use cases.
