An unusual pairing of rosemary and soft cinnamon like flavours are brought together by these vanillins Makar Old Tom Glasgow Gin 55,- Old Tom re-creates an old-fashioned, sweeter style of gin. Makar Old Tom revives this tradition, complementing the bold juniper of makar with orange peel, almonds and a little honey. Monkeys 47 Gin 60,- Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin is a very unusual gin, with its aromatic and flowering notes, from citrus oils, cranberry and many more, which can be an overwhelming taste for most people Tanqueray No ten 55,- There is no doubt that when noses Tanqueray No. Ten. the use of fresh, whole citrus fruit comes to mind. Dos Maderas 5+5 55,- Aged the first 5 years in the Carabean on oak casks, and the next 3 years in Spain on Olorosso sherry casks and finally 2 years on Pedro Ximènez casks. More sweet with notes of rasin and fig. Dos Maderas Luksus 10+5 (Barbados/Guyana) 95,- The master blender chooses rum of the finest quality from Barbados and Guyana and ages it for 10 years in the Carabean. Finally the rum is aged 5 years on Pedro Ximènez casks. La Hechicera Aged Rum 50,- Columbian rum aged in white american oak casks, and made after the solera method. La Hechicera means the sorcerer in spanish - so be carefull with her. Juicy but delicate. Rum Nation Jamaica 5 (Pot Still - Sherry finish) 45,- A robust and Funky Jamaican rum, very aromatic and spicy, but made gentler and rounder by the winey and raisiny influence of the sherry casks. Rum Nation Demera Solera N. 14 45,- Its dark sweetness reminds of thick muscovado sugar. Chestnuts, dark chocolate, raisins, a trace of fermented fruit, but mainly intense sugared coffee. Rum Nation Panama 10 45,- Straightforward and accessible, ideal for novices of rum or simply drinkers who prefer the easy-going and sweet Latin style. Rum Nation Guadeloupe Rhum Agricole 50,- Herbal, again with marked notes of very sugared tea (green and black). Intense in body, with mossy notes and Indian spices. Cloves and bergamot too. Zacapa 23 års 75,- A legendary Guatemalan rum that uses only the first pressing of the can and ages its ex bourbon and sherry casks 1,5 miles above sea level.

Whiskies Nosing notes Whichever malt you first decide to try, there is a certain ceremony in the tasting. Begin by selecting a tulip shaped glass. The wide waist and no-arrow rim will capture and concentrate the aroma far better than a conventional whisky tumbler. Next pour a measure of your chosen malt, warm the glass for a moment in your hand then swirl and inhale the nose. There a those who prefer to sip malt on its own like a cognac. Peaty aroma with a balancing sweetness and long smooth finish. Talisker, 10 y.o. - 45,8% 50,- Islay of Skye. Peaty and well balanced with slightly sweet aroma. Tomatin Legacy - 40,0% 45,- Aromas of vanilla, marshmallow, pineapple and lemon. On the palate gentle flavours of candy, pine, lemon sherbet, apples and sponge cake emerge ahead of a light, clean finish. Tomatin Cù Bòcan Light Smoke - 46,0% 50,- The story behind this Tomatin comes from the legend of a spectral dog, Cù Bòcan, who has haunted the Highland village for countless years. This is very smoky for a Tomatin whiskey. Tomatin Old Port Finish 14 y.o. - 46,0% 50,- Soft, smooth and sweet, benefiting from its time spent in Tawny Port casks which previously held port for around 50 years.
