We walked arund and were shwn the pssible places fr interactin and cmmunicatin. On this jurney we were lking fr bth ways in which infrmatin is cmmunicated, these can be bth virtual e.g. by email and persnal e.g. areas where the teachers meet and talk with varius actrs. It can als be individual cmmunicatin and infrmatin that is spread n a mre wide scale basis e.g. shared infrmatin platfrms like ntice bards. Hw did it feel when walking int teachers cmmn rm, walking rund the schl? The cmmn rm: Nisy, it was the lunch break, s cmmn rm was full f teachers. Lts f infrmatin in varius frms psters, flyers, leaflets and brchures. First impressin is that it is pretty verwhelming and much t take in at nce. Schl has just been painted s nt allwed t hang just anything up n the walls. She wuld like t have a wire hanging frm the ceiling s she can have exhibitins f the children s wrk hanging up. Furniture and equipment e.g. in the labratry is really ld. She uses the science rm but nt all teachers actually use this rm, even thugh it is new and rganised. Als nt all teachers use all rms in the schl generally, depends n the subjects that they teach. The atmsphere was very different frm crridr t crridr. Sme were very white and bare and sme had exhibitins f the children s wrk hanging n them. In her wn classrm, ther teachers als use it and hang stuff up. This created a lt f nise fr the class teacher because the pictures were hung really messy and it interrupted her thughts a lt. Sme things made sense t her e.g. maths exhibitin but culd create nise fr ther teachers, s it is very subjective hw cmmunicatin will be received. What is a schl garden? Discussed this with the teacher. She had plants in the windws, and this can be a way t start a schl garden. Shuld give peple inspiratin f different ways t start up a schl garden prject. Des nt have t be big t aid learning. The vegetable bxes utside were in a crner f the schl playgrund, can be brken if the plants are t small.
