DM Infrastructure Pilot (1:4) VDM - Video Life Cycle DM Adds DM capabilities to the existing edumedia video platform, e.g. Advanced metadata schemas Advanced sharing - allowing groups to share sensitive data Persistent identifier (PIDs) using DanPID Long term preservation of original video material incl. metadata Download options Integration with clarin.dk as a test-case Investigation of simple video editing capabilities Develops legal framework and legal agreements enabling secure deposit of sensitive video data Investigates the possibility of adding video editing capabilities 6
DM Infrastructure Pilot (2:4) NSAS National Science App Store Extends data.deic.dk with data processing, analysis, publishing and archiving capabilities in the form of apps Core components developed: Generic basic app that researchers can use as a template to develop their own domain-specific data analysis apps and an app store that allows researchers to present their apps, share them and their associated data Mechanism for moving data seamlessly between data.deic.dk and Abacus (HPC) Mechanism for interfacing data analysis apps from data.deic.dk with Abacus, to allow apps to use Abacus as computational back-end in a seamless and automatic way Seamless integration with Zenodo (CERN), incl. ORCID authentication, for publishing and long-term archiving of both data and analysis tools (the specific app and version) Develops proof-of-concept applications targeting different research communities 7
DM Infrastructure Pilot (3:4) ScienceCloud4Cities Develops a national infrastructure for collecting, sharing and processing of huge amounts of both historical and near real time (e.g. 1 min. response time) smart city energy data Components developed: Cloud storage prototype based on owncloud Cloud computing prototype that handles data from the data storage component Integration with DataCite to enable citation with DOIs Integration with Zenodo (CERN) for long-term archiving of data sets Integration with ORCID to ensure research contributions accountability Development of a secure solution for the sharing of sensitive data Proof of concept for access to subsets of the data by municipalities, private companies and private persons, i.e. non-research stakeholders (smart cities are triple- to quadruple helix constellations) 8
DM Infrastructure Pilot (4:4) ActionableBiomarkerDK - Danish Infrastructure for Storing and Updating Actionable Biomarkers in Human Disease Addresses the problem of turning a genome into a small set of actionable biomarkers useful for diagnostics, dosage calibration of drugs and drug development Components developed: Data capture component that - from a number of already existing repositories worldwide - identifies and harmonizes information on actionable biomarkers and aggregates these in to one database Acquisition storage and analysis workflows that feed large-scale proteomics data sets into Computerome and Abacus (HPC) for characterization and comparative analysis Workflows for text mining of full-length scientific papers for biomarker detection Workflow and improved reference for biomarker identification and annotation Secure private cloud for biomarker workflows on Computerome and Abacus 9
