1. The Presentation of the concepts idea. ( Lana) At rejse er at leve H.C. Andersen Our dream or vision in this project is to create a new interactive digital platform, where people can share their travel experiences, write their stories and show their travel pictures. This platform we call E-travellbook. Does it remain Facebook? In some way - yes. We have an ambition to make the attractive social media like Facebook and to be connected with other people around the world. Unlike Facebook our concept is target only for people with the travel experiences or people who dream about travelling. We have even more dreams: in the future our concept could be implemented in the fly companies as the part of their homepages. Before choose the travel destination and buy the ticket on the webpage of a fly company, people can read the tourists stories about the places and see the photos which were taken there. 2. The Problem formulation (Lana) How can we inspire people by the digital communications platform to participate in the e-travel community???? 3. The visualizing of the concept.(lana)
4. Conceptual design as the methodical approach (Lana) In this project we the group of web designers dreamers started the design process with an idea concept: exchange the travel experiences on the E travellingbook. At this first stage of the conceptual design development Design Methodology (Figure.1) we brainstormed our idea, our wishes and dreams. We defined our methods, tools and creativity techniques. The HTML5, CSS and jquery are between the accessible tools. At this phase we have also planned to involve the target group in our project and listen to their needs, wishes and demands. The tools and methods for the target group research have to be discussed and designed. (For example, Questionnaire, interview and etc.) At the next stage we have coordinated the segment of the communication and information transfer (Figure. 1) using the available communications platform for exchange of design-related data e.g. ideas, sketches, comments, decision, deadlines and et cetera.
For the team management we wrote our project agreement and agreed about the communications channels: shared Doc Google, Dropbox, e-mail, Skype conferencing, phone and et cetera. The segments Design Methodology and Communication and Information Transfer cannot be put to good use without the provision for advanced input devices to capture a flash of inspiration before it disappears: tablet, pc, scanner, webcam etc. Reference: A Framework for distributed conceptual design by A. Målgruppe undersøgelse (Hiwa) : Målgruppen for undersøgelsen vil være rejseinteresserede mennesker.
Project organisation Schedule (iyam) More detailed schedule:
