DNS RECORDS (UK) To start receiving e-mails on the new Hosted Exchange account(s) you have to make sure that the DNS records for the domain name(s) is configured properly. Service Type Value FQDN @ MX 10 exchedge-s001.hostnordic.com. @ MX 10 exchedge-s002.hostnordic.com. _autodiscover._tcp SRV 0 0 443 cas.hostnordic.com. If the _autodiscover DNS entry don t exist on the domain you are using for your e-mail, you might experience problems with address books and out of office assistants. 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 3 of 42
OUTLOOK 2007/2010 (UK) ADDING A NEW MAIL PROFILE Open the Control Panel in Windows Select and open Mail Click on Show Profiles... 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 4 of 42

USING ACCOUNT AUTO DISCOVER METHOD Type your account information in the fields, as shown in the picture Click Next Mark the checkbox and click Allow 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 6 of 42
Type your user name and password Please note - Your username is the same as your primary e-mail address Outlook will now finish the auto discover process, please be patient. Click Finish 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 7 of 42

Type the following Microsoft Exchange server: exchmbx-s002.hnext.lan or exchmbx-s001.hnext.lan (Depends on which mailbox server your account is located on If in doubt, contact Hostnordic) Username: your e-mail address (eg. chester@chesternet.com) Click More Settings Select the Connection tab 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 10 of 42

Type cas.hostnordic.com in the textbox. Select the Connect using SSL only checkbox. Select the Use this URL to connect to my proxy server for Exchange: checkbox. Type msstd:cas.hostnordic.com in the textbox. Select the On fast networks, connect using HTTP first, and then connect using TCP/IP checkbox. Select the On slow networks, connect using HTTP first, and then connect using TCP/IP checkbox. Select Basic Authentication in the dropdown box. Click OK Click OK 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 12 of 42

ENTOURAGE 2008 FOR MAC (UK) From inside Entourage 2008, Click on Tools, then select Accounts. Click on the down arrow next to New, then click Exchange. Click on Configure account manually 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 16 of 42
Type the following in the edit account windows: Account name: Exchange mailbox Name: Your Name E-mail address: username@yourdomain.com Account ID: username@yourdomain.com or your Pre-Windows 2000 login name (A12xxxxxxxxx) Domain: HNEXT Password: Your password Exchange server: https://cas.hostnordic.com/exchange/username@yourdomain.com Make sure you have selected the This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 17 of 42
Click the advanced tab and type the following: Public folders server: https://cas.hostnordic.com/public Make sure you have selected the This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) Press OK when you re done. ANDROID (DK) Du skal sikre dig, at din version af Android understøtter Exchange. Vælg "Mail" ikonet fra All programs menuen. Hvis din tlf. understøtter Exchange kan du se "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync" under "Choose a mail provider punktet Vælg "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync" Skriv din e-mail adresse og det password som du har fået udleveret til din Exchange kontor og vælg "next" 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 34 of 42
Indtast konto informationerne: E-mail address: din mail-adresse til Hosted Exchange Server address: cas.hostnordic.com Domain: hnext.lan Username: din login konto (typisk samme som e-mail adresse) Password: Kodeord til din mail-konto Sæt flueben i "This server requires an encrypted SSL connection". Efter autorisering med Hosted Exchange kan du vælge, hvilke emner der skal synkroniseres. Tryk herefter "Finish setup" for at færdiggøre opsætningen. 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 35 of 42
For at redigere dine synkronisering-indstillinger når kontoen er blevet opsat. Tryk på Settings ikonet under menu, vælg derefter "Data Synchronisation" og vælg "Exchange ActiveSync". Her kan du vælge hvor tit, der skal synkroniseres med din e-mail konto - som standard er dette 15 minutter. Herefter kan du trykke på menu knappen og vælge settings. Herfra kan du sætte indstillinger for hvor mange dage tilbage din tlf. skal hente mails, hvor mange KB af dine mails, den skal hente hver gang, hvorvidt vedhæftede filer skal medtager og meget andet. 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 36 of 42
NOKIA MAIL FOR EXCHANGE (DK) Start Mail for Exchange programmet (Findes under Menu / Programmer). Når programmet startes op første gang, vil du blive spurgt om der skal oprettes en ny profil. Vælg Yes/Ja Klik på Options og vælg menupunktet Connection 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 37 of 42
I Exchange server feltet indtastes cas.hostnordic.com Sørg desuden for at Secure connection står til Yes/Ja. Under access points vælges din GPRS/Internet forbindelse. Vælg fanebladet Credentials (tryk til højre). I Username feltet indtastes dit brugernavn til mailserveren. I password feltet indtastes adgangskoden til mailserveren. Domain skal IKKE udfyldes. OBS: Brugernavnet er ikke nødvendigvis det samme som e-mail adressen. Kontroller dine login informationer hvis du ikke er sikker på hvad dit brugernavn er. På nogle Nokia modeller skal man indtaste pre-windows2000 brugernavnet. Vælg hvilke kategorier du vil have synkroniseret til mobiltelefonen. (eks. kalender, kontakter) Under fanebladet E-mail indtastes din e-mail adresse (typisk mail@domæne.dk) og tryk OK. Sørg desuden for at Show new mail popup står til Yes/Ja. 2012 Hostnordic A/S Page 39 of 42

HELP (UK) PASSWORD COMPLEXITY REQUIREMENTS All passwords must meet the following complexity guidelines: Contain characters from three of the following four categories: o English uppercase characters (A through Z) o English lowercase characters (a through z) o Base 10 digits (0 through 9) o Non-alphabetic characters (for example,!, $, #, %) Not contain the user's Account Name or Name. May not be the same as a password that already have been used by the user (the last 24 passwords is remembered) A minimum of 7 (seven) characters MUST be used. If the wrong password is entered 3 times, the user account will be locked out. Wait 30 minutes and try again. CHANGE PASSWORD If you want to change your Hosted Exchange user password, please use the change password feature in Outlook Web Access. If that by any chance should fail, please log in to our selfcare web interface. Open your browser and connect to: https://selfcare.hostnordic.com Log in with your account id (typical your e-mail) and your current password. In the menu choose My account and then change password.
