MARKEDSFØRING, OUTREACH OG BRANDING STATE OF GREEN, FINN MORTENSEN State of Green s tidligere vandrådgivningspanel er blevet sammenlagt med IWA arbejdsgruppen Første møde blev afholdt i december 2016 Formål med gruppen blev diskuteret: undersøge og række ud til målgruppe (konferencedeltagere) udpege kommercielle milepæle undersøge og forsøge at imødekomme efterspørgsel på nye materialer og værktøj komme med input til tekniske ture Liste med opgaver og milepæle udarbejdet Møde med sponsorgruppen v. Anders Bækgaard. MOB-arbejdsgruppens aktiviteter er afhængige af sponsorgruppens aftale med partnere. 9

SPONSORER OG SPONSORBRANDING NATIONALKOMITEEN ANDERS BÆKGAARD Sponsorgruppemøde den 8. november 2016: Målet er at sætte et så stort dansk fodaftryk som muligt på konferencen/udstillingen, og det bliver jo lettere jo flere lokale sponsormidler, DK kan frembyde. Opgaver: Forventningsafstemning med nuværende sponsorer indledes i 2017 Finansiering af branding af 2020 på step-stones Undersøges hos IWA HQ om danske sponsorer kan anvende sponsorat til egen markedsføring Udarbejde forslag til IWA vedr. elementer til en sponsorpakke for 2020 Arbejde med de større vandforbrugende industrier og evt. vandkraftbranchen (rel. til Norden) Nordiske sponsorer i relation til den nordiske involvering Møde med MOB arb. /State of Green 7. marts 2017: Koordination til branding drøftedes 10

Basin Connected Cities Each programme focuses on a different level of action of The Principles for Water-Wise Cities. And all programmes, initiatives and activities of the IWA contribute to the last level of action: building water-wise communities. 17

Transitioning Cities from Water-Wise Vision to Action Evaluate and define the role of IWA to support the transition of cities from the water-wise vision to implementation. The Basins of the Future (BoF) Programme in 2017 Ensure planning and management of water resources from catchment to consumer Meet growing demands on water resources Respond to the challenges of climate variability & change SPACE-O (EC funded project) - uses satellite data to assess upstream risks and provide forecasting on water quality and flows to optimize water utility operations Urban Water Blueprint - Information on natural solutions (e.g. river bank restoration) that can be integrated alongside traditional infrastructure to improve the quality of water that reaches cities. Flood and Drought Management Tools - Developing online tools to provide decision support in planning from the transboundary basin to water utility level by including better information on floods and droughts. Water-Energy-Food Nexus connecting sectors to find integrated infrastructure solutions to water challenges Preparing for Extreme And Rare events in coastal regions (PEARL) (EC funded project) - developing more sustainable risk management solutions for coastal communities focusing on present and projected extreme hydro-meteorological events.
