CAREER EDUCATION 2016 - CURRENT, DESIGNER HILL + KNOWLTON In 2016 I was offered to work for Hill + Knowlton s danish office. They were missing a Designer who could help them on Art Direction, Pitches, Day-to-day tasks, Logo Design etc. Together with another designer we are solving all kinds of projects, and It is very interesting to work for a International agency again. 2012 - CURRENT, PROJECT MANAGER DISTORTION For the past tree years I have had the joy of working as a Project Manager for the electronic music festival Distortion. Distortion is an annual festival in the streets of Copenhagen that has turned into a bonafide cultural phenomenon, attracting visitors from all over Scandinavia and beyond. As Project Manager I have a staff of 30 employees in order to deftly pull off parties of 1500 people or more. Event planning is chaotic and exciting, and a welcome respite from my life as an artist - which I find it very satisfying. Whether its throwing a party or designing, its all about attention to the smallest detail. 2015-2016, ART DIRECTOR HIDE THE ZEBRA After my graduation I started working for a Film and VFX company, Hide The Zebra. As a Digital Art Director and Motion Designer it was my job to take the lead on our productions. While working for Hide The Zebra I Art Directed serveral 3D and motion projects while also pitching in with production as a Motion Designer, presentations, marketing and UI design. 2012-2013, GRAPHIC DESIGNER ONFONE When working for Onfone, I performed myriad tasks with respect to brand strategy, art design and execution. I headed up the redesign the companies website and helped revamp the brand, and advertisements. I also created new and upgraded logo packs, as well as performed daily maintenance for Onfone s visual identity. 2011-2012, ART DIRECTOR MINDJUMPERS Mindjumpers is one of Denmark s leading social media advertising agencies. I conceptualized, designed and executed many aspects of the agency s social media campaigns, most using Facebook and Twitter. I refined my skills in creating visual communication tools that helped increase engagement and brand reach for our valued clients. 2012-2013, GRAPHIC DESIGNER / ART DIRECTOR PIXELDOT While working for Pixeldot, I worked on both web and print assignments. I also had my first encounter with mobile applications development. TThere were only 4 people in the company so I wore a lot of hats and had to be very hands-on with a wide variety of projects. 2009-2012, GRAPHIC DESIGNER LONSDALE LONDON, AUSTRALIA My main task at Lonsdale London was T-Shirt design. Everyday I had to produce three new graphics in Adobe Illustrator, and they had to be good - very good. With this pressure I learned to work quickly and efficiently in Illustrator to meet daily deadlines. In addition to T-Shirt designing I also was tasked with remaking the company s catalogs and website maintenance. 2005-2007, FINAL ARTIST BBDO DENMARK BBDO was my first real job after finishing my Graphic Designer Degree. Working with a massive multinational corporation for my first job was instrumental in forging my strong work ethic that continues to this day. At BBDO I worked in the Production Department as a Final Artist. I worked primarily with In-Design, and was able to hone my skills with this powerful software. 2012-2015, INTERACTIVE DESIGN, VISUAL COMMUNICATION, BA DMJX In 2015 I finished my Bachelors Degree in Visiual Commucations. I was focused like a laser on improving my skills in leading programs such as After Effects and Cinema4D, This is one of the most prestigious design schools in Denmark with more than 1,300 aplicants yearly for 80 spots. Utilizing this incredible educational experience, learning everything from typography, conceptualizing, killing my darlings to video-editing, 3D animation, sculpturing and motion design. 2001-2005, MEDIA GRAPHIC DESIGNER KTS By co-incidence I enrolled and ended up at KTS (long story), but after the first semester I earned my first A+ ever. This reward for my hard work and dedication fuelled my desire to all go all out for Design as my career. For the next four years I poured everything I had into learning graphic design, working on the side with numerous small clients to help pay the bills. Maj 2016 Hide The Zebra s anbefaling af Caspar Rohleder Caspar Rohleder har været ansat hos Hide The Zebra fra 1/11-2015 i stillingen som Art Director og Motion Graphics Artist, og var hos os indtil 31/4-2016. Grundet utilstrækkelige Design og 2D Motion/ After Effects-opgaver, har vi desværre ikke kunne opretholde hans stilling. Caspar s opgaver for Hide The Zebra bestod i at udvikle mood-boards, design, Art Direction og Motion Graphics opgaver. Caspar skulle bruge sin mange årige erfaring og evner som reklame, grafisk & digital designer til at indgå i et team af senior 3D & VFX artister, som Art director på 2D & 3D producerede film. Samtidigt skulle Caspar erhverve sig mere praktisk viden om specielt motion graphics, film produktion og udvikle sin forståelse for den filmiske fortælling. Det kræver store analytiske, sociale og kommunikative evner samtidigt med stor teknisk forståelse for de forskellige dele af film processen. Caspar s store forståelse for grafisk design og hans lyst til at udvikle sig indenfor Motion Graphics gjorde ham til den perfekte kandidat til rollen som Art Director & Motion Graphic Artist hos Hide The Zebra. Caspar er meget engageret både socialt og arbejdsmæssigt og elsker at have noget at give sig i kast med. Caspar har evnen til at sætte sig igennem, finde den røde tråd grafisk og viger ikke tilbage for en udfordring hvilket viser sig igenem hans store gå-på-mod og ambition om at dygtigøre sig samt tilegne sig viden.
