EQUINE INFECTIOUS ANAEMIA (EIA)/ INFEKTIØS ANÆMI The donor stallions were subjected to the agar gel iummunodiffusion (AGID) test or competitive-elisa for EIA not less than 21 days after entry onto the semen collection centre, with negative results. / Donor hingstene er blevet underkastet agar gel immundiffusion (AGID) test eller konkurrende- ELISA for infektiøs anæmi minimum 21 dage siden indskrivningen til sædopsamlingsstationen, med negativt resultat. Virus isolation on cell culture carried out on the sperm rich fraction of two separate semen samples with negative results. N.B. Godkendte metoder til at påvise bærere er som følger: a. CONTAGIOUS EQUINE METRITIS (CEM, TAYLORELLA) / INFEKTIØS EQUIN METRITIS During the breeding season in which the semen for export is collected, the donor stallion has been tested for CEM by swabbing and culture on two occasions with a negative result for Taylorella equigenitalis in each case; the swabs must be taken at 5-7 day intervals. (N.B. The sites for swabbing are from the prepuce, the urethral sinus, and the fossa glandis (including its diverticulum).)/ I avls sæsonen når sæden til eksport bliver opsamlet, er donor hingsten blevet testet for CEM ved en svaberprøve og dyrkning ved to lejligheder med negativt resultat for Taylorella equigenitalis i hvert tilfælde. Svaberprøverne skal foretages med intervaller på 5-7 dage. (N.B. Svaberprøveområdet er forhuden, sinus urethralis og fossa glandis (inkl. diverticulum). On the dates of collection for export of horse semen in this consignment, no animals on the collection centre showed any clinical evidence of infectious or contagious disease/ Dyrene på sædopsamlingsstationen udviste ingen kliniske tegn på infektiøs eller smitsom sygdom på tidspunktet for opsamlingen af hingstesæd til denne forsendelse. 2 All products of animal origin, other than egg yolk, used in the collection, processing and storage of the horse semen were certified as either sterile preparations or as having been screened for adventitious viruses, including test for cytopathology in appropriate cell cultures, for haemagglutinating and haemadsorbent viruses, and for pestivirus by immunoperoxidase or immunofluorescence techniques, with negative results in each case/ Alle produkter af animalsk oprindelse, undtagen æggeblommer, som blev brugt i opsamlingen, bearbejdningen og opbevaringen af hingstesæden blev attesteret som værende enten sterile forberedelser eller er blevet screenet for tilfældig virus, hvilket inkluderer en test for cytopathology ved en behørig dyrkningsundersøgelse, for haemagglutin og haemadsorbent virus og for pestivirus ved hjælp af immunoperoxidase eller immunofluorescence teknikker med negativt resultat i hvert tilfælde. 3. All biological products have been handled in a manner that ensures that their sterility was maintained. / Alle biologiske produkter er blevet håndteret på en måde, som sikrer at steriliteten blev opretholdt. An effective combination of antibiotics was added to the semen after final dilution. The combination must produce an effect at least equivalent to the following dilutions:/ En effektiv kombination af antibiotika blev tilføjet sæden efter den sidste fortynding.
